Bute has what 5 defenses and 4 are by KO plus getting the title was a KO. Ward wins one fight that was also shrouded with some controversy and he supersedes Bute to be 1.

All the guy has done is beat the same Miranda and defeat a guy that hasn't fought a competitive fighter since losing to JC years ago. How does this make him so great?

Bute is clearly top 3 in the division. IMOP he waxes the floor with Froch, Dirrell, and Green. Kessler has a small chance but I'll hold my judgement with respects to KEssler until after next weekend. The guy that showed up against Ward gets knocked out. After the Dirrell fight I'd make him the favourite against AA. I'd have to make Ward the favourite against Bute but its not a fight that I could call with confidence simply because I honestly haven't seen enough out of Ward to hav e full confidence in him.

 

Bute is not even the No.1 SMW and i cant believe sports writers and fans put his ass as the No.1 SMW ??? All this guy does is stay at his home turf and fight bums which he been making his career out of. All the best SMW fighters are fighting in the Super 6 and this guy is in Canada feeding off bums.
