Lucian Bute vs. Andre Ward

He hates Bute anyways....waste of time....

 

I wouldnt say critical, I would say the calm voice behind the storm. If you check my posts about Bute you will find that I have said that Bute is a fine looking fighter, but is yet to do it vs truely elite fighters. Im not saying that Bute cant beat those fighters Im saying that until he does people need to stop acting as if he has. There is a thread about Bute making the super-six worthless, I would like to know how??? Because he beat a couple of fighters that was outclass by every fighter they faced that is in the super-six??? It a freaking joke how guys jump the gun and go over broad about a fight that no one thought Bute would lose anyways. Its like a NBA basketball team beatting a high school basketball team, and then the fans talking about it like they just beat the greatest basketball team in the world.

 

As I said, bring up some facts, be at least a little bit coherent and we'll be able to talk.

16, 20 seconds... numbers are hard to remember, huh? By the way, Showtime's clock was confused too.

A lot? Apart from the first Andrade fight (which is arguable because if M. B. Wright had not ****ed everything up, Bute would have clearly won), find me one of Bute's fight were there has been some sort of controversy. Good luck.

 

The only truth at this point is that there are 4 real natural talents at 168 for the time being : Ward, Bute, Dirrell & Kessler. Who beats who is just anyone's opinion for now...

Some people may go overboard, but in general most of the Bute fans are humble and respectful, just like the man himself.

On the other hand, the_____________fans are hypnotized by their man, turning into cocky, overly protective, insecure, etc...kinda fans

Get out of here with that bull****. Bute fans have been saying for months that he is head and shoulders above those other fighters, but he hasnt beatten even one of them. And he hasnt really done anything that one of them hasnt done before he did. Ward dominated Miranda before he had 20 fights, AA beat him when he was undefeated. Stop itatsch

Most of the talks were always about Bute's record comparing favorably to any Super 6 member prior to the 1st fights of the tournament, except for Kessler's resume.

The combination of Bika-Berrio-Andrade-Zuniga was better than any wins Ward had piled up at that point. That Kessler fight now gives Ward the edge for fighting the top man at 168.

The others......before the tournament :

Froch beat Pascal, a fighter most here laughed at in January 2008 when he almost got knocked out by Omar Pittman....Pascal wasn't considered much before the Froch fight. Then Taylor, being knocked out in 2 of his previous 3 fights, fighting only once at 168 before meeting Froch.

Abraham was at 160 fighting ordinary mandatories.

Dirrell hadn't fought anyone worth mentioning.

Can you really say Ward has better skillz than Bute? Bute seems pretty slick and skilled to me.

 

Miranda went 12 rounds with Ward. Bute stopped Miranda in the 3rd round. Bute will knock Ward out, but Ward would refuse to fight in tournament if Bute were allowed to fight in it. Ward refused to fight in tournament unless he got all his fights in his hometown. Why is that?
