    Oh God!

Now I know why the guy retired. I suppose Mosley will be shot when he gets shut out on the 1st, right?

I take it anyone who buys into that kintergarden level boxrec warrior reasoning goes strictly by numbers and doesn't TRULY know who the **** Ray Robinson is to save their life. If Floyd challenged himself more as a welter then he wouldn't deserve all the criticism that has been heaped on him since he arrived in the division 5 years ago. In less than 5 years SRR whooped EVERYONE's ass at welter and ended up having to move up to middleweight for more challenges and money. It took a great middleweight in Jake Lamotta who Robinson weighed in against as still a welter to hand him his first loss. He went on to beat Jake five times after that. Y'all either mustaforgot....or never had a clue in the first place.

    Both are fighters right?
Both are considered amongst the best ever, right?

Amount of fights doesn't mean ****! You don't think Floyd has the condition necessary to fight more often. It's just not the way things are anymore.

Go on what you see. I think Floyd has attributes that would have given Robinson ****in nightmares and vice versa but people laugh as if Floyd hasn't got the right to say how good he is.

Ali did the same thing and Mayweather is on that level. Denying it is ignorace. The man is special and will go down in history just like Sugar Ray and Ali.

SRR is #1 P4P of all time.

    Floyd might crack top 50.

    Be realistic please.

There is one reason Floyd will never be ranked ahead of Ali or the original Sugar Ray: those two showed more inclination to fight only the best even late in their careers. Floyd since leaving 135 has frustrated many who are not blinded by his nuts for not taking the best challenges. Yes, there were reasons outside of him that are partly to blame but it's bias talking when you refuse to include him for partly being at fault for that. Times have changed and fighters behaving like Ali and SRR was a norm back then and expected. Nowadays a fighter must go above and beyond everyone else to break the cieling of their potential. You must strive to be great and do great things to be considered such. It doesn't just all into your lap.

I agree. people go over the top and jump on him when he says stuff like that, but hes just psyching himself up. many athletes have done it at one point or another. We all know its bull**** and maybe he does too, but I can understand his reasoning of why he would say that. Hes not the type of person that will admit someone is better than him even if it is the best to ever lace them up. Some people need that reassuring self belief even if it does sound crazy to other people. Evander holyfield still thinks he will be undisputed heavyweight champ of the world someday. james toney not only thinks he can beat the "klitschko sisters" but he thinks he can beat brock lesnar, and dominate in the ufc. whatever they have to do to hype themselves do what you have to do.

    No he wont.

He will be remembered as a great of his era, a highly skilled technician and defensive specialist...but he will remembered even more for as an arrogant cockhead who hardly went outside his comfort zone.

People do not revere Mayweather like Ali or Robinson were in their time and are now...and it aint going to happen.

skill wise floyd is just as good you criticize him for not fighting whom you want him to fight thats fine.

no he cant fight over 100 fights..not gonna happen.

Today..neither would SRR even as great as he is.

What suggests Floyd isn't better than SRR outside of resumes?

Because Floyd has shown us all the tools throughout his career....SKILLWISE and H2H....Floyd gives a lot people trouble period and beats alot more fighters then some think do to his shear intelligence in the ring.

not saying he is a GOAT or anything hell i think RJJ and Pac do damage as well....i think our fighters today always get shytted on when past fighters come up but it aint fare cus Pac, RJJ, Floyd are all rare talents as SRR, SRL, and ALi

Why does he want to wind up people? I thought he is begging to be respected and now he is trying to wind up people? You don't get the respect of boxing fans and mainstream media as a whole by winding up people. Act, talk and think responsibly and he will get the respect he has been longing for.

You're entitled to your opinion, I just don't respect it at all.

    Sorry, kid.
