Adamek just did it, why not Chad?

But if Chad prefers to stay at 175 then I would like him to fight Pascal (he's fighting him next), Cloud, Campillo or Shemenov.

 

Adamek is clearly a naturally bigger guy. Just because he did it doesnt mean Chad or anyone else can. Some fighters can make that leap some cant that really doesnt determine who's better.

Bob Foster couldnt do it and that was in the era when 6'4 220 was considered a big heavyweight. Is Adamek better then Bob Foster??? Doubt it.

 

Chad and Adamek are of the same height. Chad even has longer arms than Adamek. And Chad is still growing?

 

And Paul Williams has a longer reach then Wladimir Klitschko.... Should he give it a go at Heavyweight???

 

Fail. Wladimir is 6' 7" and Williams only 6' 1" That Williams 1" reach over Wladimir is easily offset by the 6" height advantage Wladimir over Williams.

No problem if Chad stays at Light Heavy but if he wants more recognition and more credits, he will find it at higher weights. Like what Adamek and Haye are doing right now.

Coz we're comparing Chad and Adamek but you throw in a completely different comparison. Did Wlad and Williams fought in the past or in the same division in the past?

 

I wasnt trying to make a comparison I was trying to prove a point that height and arm length doesnt equal size weight wise.

Adamek clearly handles the extra muscule well. Put an extra 20 pounds on Dawson(let alone another 20 to fight at heavyweight) and you think he is still good?? All that weight would take away his hand speed and foot speed and his power would be completely non existent.

Everyone is screaming for these fat heavyweight to move down to cruiserweight and light heavy and now you want in shape Light heavys to get fat and jump to heavyweight....... makes sense.atschBut I guess if Adamek did it Dawson has too.

 

Technically that was 2 fights ago against a 13-3-1 fighters who out weighed him by a whole 4 and a 1/2 pounds.

If they had to fight guys like Rafael Concepion there would be a ton of three division champs. If it was a top 10 fighter that out weighed him like that then yeah it would make a huge difference but Concepion sucks. He's a journey men who had one good fight against a prospect.
