Sergio Martinez makes the move up to super middleweight and challenges IBF SMW champion Lucian Bute.

Martinez should re-match Williams for the the lineal MW title.....If he wins we get a trilogy....If he loses, he can probably go back down to 154, and OWN that division for the next 2-3 years.....If Martinez wants a legacy, its at 154, not 160....because he could get labeled as the "guy who just beat pavlik"

They're actually about the same height and Martinez has a longer reach. Would be a good scrap

Paul Williams is about the same height and had a longer reach than Tomas Adamek or Eddie Chambers and Cellestino Cabellero is about the same height and same reach as Arthur Abraham....

Caballero should tell Abraham to put on his pants and get in the ring with him.

Except in each of these cases, there are several weight classes seperating these fighters. There is only one weight class seperating Martinez from Bute.

How much did Bute come in against Miranda at if you remember?

Martinez is a genuine light middleweight, Bute a genuine super middleweight.

Do you see a style advantage for Martinez to negate the physical advantage for Bute? I don't.

Martinez just beat the middleweight champion of the world. I believe he weighed 162-163 doing it aswell. He's a legit Middleweight.

Didnt answer my question but ok. Bute has arms like a Dinosaur. Martinez has freakishly long arms. Infact his arm length was just as long as Pavliks. His reach is 76 inches. Bute's is 70 inches.

Bute's power seems to be generated by using his short arms to his advantage while fighters are in close. I would like to see how he fairs against a slick outside boxer.

I feel Martinez would present him a few problems.
