Beating Dirrell, Taylor and Pascal in 3 consecutive fights is way, way, way better than drawing with Cintron, beating Pavlik and losing to Williams.

Yet people are putting the latter in the top 10 and the former nowhere near it :patsch:patsch

Froch definitly should be Top20. But Froch had a very close, controversial fight with a then nobody in Dirrell. Martinez had a a very close, controversial fight with a Top10 p4p fighter. That´s what makes the difference for me.

btw. if a fight has no clear winner like Froch-Dirrell, Williams-Martinez or Calzaghe-Hopkins than I see those fights as draws.

No way you are twisting this around big time you have to look at how Froch got those wins Dirrell(gift) Taylor(lucky) Pascal good win.

Martinez well Williams,Pavlik were much more highly regarded than any one Froch beat ath the time., and IMO and many others Martinez deserved that fight he was unlucky and Froch was very lucky it doesnt take a halfway intelligent perosn to watch those fights and come to that conclusion.
Cintron:patsch Gtfogh yuou know he deserved that one.

    I had DIrrell 117-111:yep
    Calzaghe by 1 point
    Martinez by 3 over Williams.

No way is Froch in the top 20 i think i mentioned 25 guys already in my PFP thread are that are better than Froch and there is even more that i didnt Like Alexander,Vic,WOnjank!!,Moreno and a few others.

I also forgot about Vasquez/Marquez we will see how much they have left soon, i actually think Marquez is still an elite fighter and probably will be in the top 10 again. Vasquez is probably past it.

How was the Taylor win lucky?

You don't TKO somebody like that after beating on them for 2 minutes through 'luck'.

When you look at the wins....

Win over 175 champion>>>>loss to Williams
    Taylor>>>>>Cintron.
    Dirrell>>>>Pavlik.

I had Froch-Dirrell a draw. That fight was a disgrace and didn´t deserve a winner.
I had Hopkins by one point. 6 rounds a piece the KD making the difference.
    I had Martinez by one.

Froch deserves a Top20 mention more than Dirrell or Ward. As does Bute btw.

I would rank their opponents at the time they fought them like this:

    Williams
    Pavlik
    Taylor
    Cintron
    Pascal
    Dirrell

Who's more of a good fighter?

The one who's 3 - 0 against Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell.

Or the guy who's 1-1-1 with Pavlik, Cintron and Williams?

Froch is a scrub. He'll never see the pound for pound top 10.

No, it´s rational. In close fights one fighter did not establish superiority over the other, to do that you have to beat your opponent clearly. Neither Froch, nor Williams, nor Calzaghe did so ion the mentioned fights.

Ok Taylor was way passed it and you know it and he was way ahead, maybe saying lucky is too harsh on Froch, but Froch being outclassed for much of the fight left more of an impression on me than him coming back for a late ko.
Dirrell win only looks good "OFFICIALLY" is because Dirrell came back to whip Abraham, but in all reality Dirrell whipped Froch too, just judges didnt think so.
Williams is a better fight PFP than Froch has fought and Martinez should have got the nod. Cintron PFP is almost or in the same league as PASCAL.

Pavlik win is also better than Frochs wins.

Come talk to me after Kessler.
