    I got Valero KO4, followed by a quick exit to a chorus of boo's, stones and fire, followed by a botched prison-suicide resulting in horrible, horrible pain.

    You're letting Valero off the hook if you just say he's "insane". The man was clearly functional in all aspects of his life except with his family. This is person who was cruel, sadistic, and had an extended history of violence to those closest to him. Women stay with abusers because they become emotionally broken or fear who they are with, and Valero was never punished for his actions. I just can't get over how police can buy that she "fell down the stairs" and that they should leave her alone with this monster.

    she always refused to accuse him after several beatings...and everyone knew the ****er was abusing her.A tragedy that could have been prevented.

    One of the saddest things about this is that the wife was repeatedly beaten beforehand, and was sent to the hospital more than once for injuries, but she always apparently refused to put any blame on Valero. Even after the allegations of him beating his mother and sister they refused to blame him. Now this **** happens...

    The little sweetheart stuck by her man and protected him through all this bull****,,, and this is how she is rewarded for her loyallty?

    Un-****ing-believable! :-(

    Mother-****er should have been locked up, or at least denied access to his family long before this happened.
