Not being competitive basically means Ward would shut him out 10-11-12 rounds to 1-2 or none. I know Ward is "SOG" but that's at least exaggerating a tad. Let's first wait and see how Ward does against Dirrell to tell how well he reatcs against talented lefties.
1st of all, Dirrell isn't a southpaw. He switches but, he is an orthodox fighter. 2nd of all, Dirrell is going to woop Ward. 3rd of all, Ward getting wooped by Dirrell has no baring on what Ward would do to Bute. Finally, Ward would beat Bute by just about what you said, 10-11 rounds to 1-2 rounds.
Hopefully for you the odds will make you a rich man.... Good luck ! By the way, of course Dirrell switches up a lot but he normally spends more time giving looks in a southpaw stance.
AA did not beat him, but yes he got the nod. If Miranda never wins a title, he will always look back at that fight. He should have been the MW champ.
You seem pretty confident. Ward hasn't faced a fast and powerful opponent. How are you so sure he would shut Bute out? Wishful thinking here.
What I have read is posters like you saying Bute is a bum. That's when we defend him. The posts you are talking about do not exist. Maybe 10% of Bute fans are going to far. Ward's fans are worst by far. The guy has one single good win and he's supposed to beat Bute by a shut out. Most Bute fans place him in the top 3 and say we won't know until he faces elite opposition. Come on man, show me the posts. If you want, I'll show you some posts exagerating Ward, these ones are not tough to find.
What about Bute? His best opponent didn't win a single round against Kessler. And Ward schooled him. Wishful thinking, not really. It could be possible. But, like you said, we can't be sure. Maybe Bute would KO him. But Ward IMO, won't lose a decision against bute.
