Life in prison is what he deserves. He may not have loved his wife but there is no reason and no excuse for him to beat his wife to death in the fashion he did. This guy isn't fit enough to deal with people without being violent.

    FINISH HIM.

That is in thoroughly bad taste.

I knew he was a violent, unstable character, but a lot of fighters are. I didn't know he was an out and out psychopath. RIP Caroline Viera.

Guess it's time to change my avatar. **** man... how would you like THAT face to be the last thing you see on this earth?

I think he deserves no less than what his wife got. Can someone say..."death penalty"?

Holy ****. What a shocking ending to what could have been a great career. Too mentally unstable though.

Stop blaming the spot of boxing. Violent psychopaths are not produced by being hit in the head too many times. That is a BS theory with no credibility in neuroscience. Sure it's possible that an individual can be brain damaged but the likelyhood that they'd become a violent psychopath from boxing is very slim.

Lets look at it differently and assume there are violent psychopaths in every profession hiding out. Maybe there are a lot of violent psychopaths in boxing because boxing is a sport which rewards violence and not because boxers get hit on the head too many times and turn into monsters who kill their wife. It's more likely that individuals like Benoit and Valero were ALWAYS psychopaths.

I think there are too many kids on ESB. Once you reach a certain age in life (4 or 5 years or so), there comes a time when you differentiate between what is funny and what is inappropriate. I've read no funny posts in this thread, but I've sure as hell read more than enough inappropriate ones.

He had a great record. This guy could have been great and now hes finished because he isn't fit for civilized society.

I'm not blaming boxing. But SERIOUS head injuries - as was the one Valero received - should disqualify you from a license, as it does in most places. That's just common sense.

The writing was on the wall with the stories of domestic violence and police chases.

Hopefully his wife rests in peace.
