Not disagreeing with you cause Martinez looked good against Pavlik. But before that he hadn't done anything Margarito couldn't do.

They both had close fights against Williams. Margarito destroyed Kermit. Martinez "was robbed" against Cintron.

Both Margarito and Martinez are better than they were 8 years ago but their respective styles have not changed.

IMO Margarito has the style to beat him again!

 

Martinez was cheated out of a win when he beat Cintron and Williams. He beat Williams without time to even train for that fight! He will stop Williams in a rematch and Pavlik will knock Williams out if that fight ever happens.

The hilarious thing is that, if they had a rematch and Margo won, all would be forgiven in a heartbeat and Shane would be a bum for fighting a weight-drained version of him.

 

Margarito hasnt fought in how long? Last time out he got his dick put in the dirt by Mosley. I dont see how you can possibly make that prediction or come to that conclusion.

Also, Martinez was robbed against Cintron. Not only the decision, but keep in mind he legitimately knocked him out but somehow Cintron claimed it was a headbutt and the fight was allowed to continue after he was counted out, or close to being counted out. He also dropped Williams. Something Margarito wasnt able to do.

You cant base the fight on their encounter many years ago. How theyve performed respectively in their recent fights would be a better indicator.

a boxing licence is a privilege not a right. Magarito lost that privilege when he decided to show no regard for human life he shouldn't be allowed to box let alone box for the mw title. There are plenty of mexican boxers you can be a cheerleader for, do it for someone who deserves it
