So would you agree that psychopathic way of thought can be in essence cured or tamed? Even if it's through reward and punishment, even if we are talking about lack of empathy or whatever, surely threat of self-deprication can be acknowledged and so the realisation of the consequence for them would stop them from doing it, if that was put across properly?

It is a well known fact Valero has alcohol and drug problems. He is not the first man to kill someone while under the effect of drugs. There are not excuses for his actions.

True, but I don't see myself looking dumb on this one anytime soon. Especially seeing how the allegations were made by himself. I guess we're all just ALLEGEDLY angry with Edwin Valero then. O.J. Simpson ALLEGEDLY killed Nicole and Ronald. Barry Bonds ALLEGEDLY took steroids. Ray Lewis ALLEGEDLY stabbed those people in that fight. Don't you just the love that word..."allegedly"?

From Doug Fischer's blog, Ring Magazine, posted April 10, 2010:

"Don’t feel bad for Valero. He’s not the nicest guy in the world, plus, I have a feeling he’ll gradually get his act together as the year progresses."

Yeah. Venezuela will make sure Valero gets his act together as a customer of their penal system.

I'm sure Valero will be gutted once he finds out that you don't like him anymore.

Sociopaths are tamed psychopaths. Violent psychopaths cannot be tamed at all, and psychopaths really aren't tame either. Honestly I don't think we can tame a psychopath with words alone and I don't think anything short of curing the wiring in their brains will work.

You can teach a psychopath but thats not the same as taming a psychopath. If you think I'm wrong then accept the challenge and marry a psychopath.

They are two seperate issues. I think what they both did was horrible and despicable but as boxers they both did have skills. It would be like if you found out tomorrow that Muhammad Ali killed somebody in his youth - would it make him less of a skilled boxer? No. Would it make him less of a man in my eyes? Yes. Two seperate things.

I'd actually really really love to know what the bible says about people born with mental handicap. I wonder what the MO was in those days?

I thought of that when I read the news as well. I feel for Doug slightly because he's going to have to put up with so much **** over this just because he "found" Valero in many peoples eyes eventhough it has nothing to do with him personally. You know how moronic boxing fans can be.
