Ward and Abraham are the two fighters I would give the best chance to against Bute. Unfortunately, Bute may not face either until the end of 2011/early 2012...

    I picked "draw".
Not because i think it will end that way but because i think its a pretty even fight right now.

Seen like 20 Bute's fights (guy keeps getting better everytime), but I only saw Ward twice (MIranda and Kessler) so i have to see him more before being able to pick one guy.

I was thinking the same thing that Ward might steal a Decision from Bute but i was also thinking that Wards lack of power might make Bute more aggressive and and he is a man that knows how the to take advantage of his opponents weaknesses.Bute can KO Ward he has a big arsenal of punches and with more aggression an the right game plan he can also win a decision.Ward can win a decision against Bute but i don't think he can KO him. Bute has more options of winning than Ward has. But then again Ward needs just one good option and by the way he beat Kessler that option seem pretty good. The downside of having just 1 options is that Bute and his team can prepare better for it, and if they can somehow shutdown that option of Ward, they win. Do we know how does Ward reacts to power punches that can hurt you badly (ex: Bute's body uppercut) not to mention that Bute has punches that can turn you're lights out (ex: Hook to the head -AndradeII- Uppercut to the head -Miranda-). See what i meen. I think anyone can win the fight ...just that Bute will be the favorite but Ward is an extremely fast&skilled fighter.

So are you saying I am the only person that thought the 12th round had problems in that fight?

You will find, that almost everyone outside the Bute fanclub thought that round was horribly reffed and definitley worked in Butes favor.

I have no knock against Bute the fighter. It was pretty much a forgone conclusion he would beat Miranda, who has been washed up for a bit now. However, before I jump on the Bute is the greatest bandwagon, he will have to beat some better competition than he has in the last three fights.

I would love to see him against Pavlik in his next fight, that would be a great matchup.

The slow guy with no gameplan that we saw yesterday? At least I'd expect Pavlik to suffer less from draining to 168 than 160.

Exactly. Pavlik really did look sluggish, probably from the extreme weight loss and then gain.

I would mark bute the favorite, but Pavlik would make this a very interesting fight. Bute doesn't have Martinez speed to totally control the fight.

Ward by very close UD but it could truly go either way. This will be a great fight. I think Dirrell-Ward-Bute are gonna make for some amazing matches coming up here in the future.

That would be so uninteresting that HBO will never present it. You're becoming more and more a **** hater Keith. Be careful.

Bute would ko Pavlik as fast as Miranda.

Let me get this straight. I am a Bute hater because I favor Bute to beat Pavlik??

Just because I don't suck his nuts like you does not make me a hater.

If you actually went back and read your response you would realize what a freaking fanboy you sound like right now.

Pavlik has never been ko'd or even close to it, and now Bute it going to annihilate him?

**** you sound like the Pavlik fans before this weekend.

It's dipshits like you that drive people AWAY from the fighter you love so much.

Well to be fair, i have read a lot of your post and you are very critical about Bute (and montreal refs).

Crying out loud that the stoppage was premature. I also think it was a bit too soon. But you making it sound like nobody should fight in Montreal...while Miranda was clearly on shaky legs. Its not all black or white please.

I understand and agree with some of your points. Not sure Bute kos Pavlik.

But hey, i was not sure at all he was going to ko Miranda. A lot of experts picked Bute by UD.

Oh, and no fan can drive me away from a good fighter.
    I mean...i like boxing.
    You?

Actually none of my posts have been critical of Bute all.

I have been VERY critical of the weird things happening in Montreal. I just find it EXTREMELY ironic that Bute got battered all around thing ring in one fight and given 20 seconnds to recover, never did recover and the fight was not stopped and Miranda takes one punch, gets up and they stop in the third round. It could be coincidence, but that's enough for me not to have any of my fighters fight in that town.

I think Bute is a very good fighter, obviously slightly overrated by his Montreal fanbase, as was Pavlik by his fanbase. And when you fight a good fighter you don't wan't anything weird happening in a fight against him.

So somehow by the Bute man love assosciation, me saying Bute is too good of fighter to fight where he may have an undue advantage has turned into me hating him.

But then again fans who favor their fighters over the sport have never been the most rational bunch.

you just seem to focus more on the fan than on the fighter.
THats probably what makes you look like a hater (not saying you are one).
Also, there is favoritism for almost every hometown fighter (no saying its right, not at all!) but you seem to really enjoy talking about Montreal like its the worst place ever.

Many far more controversial decisions, bad referring, quick stoppages happened elsewhere...

ANother thing that makes you sound like a hater.

    Just saying, with all respect.
