Well, it wouldn't be a tragedy per se, unless he dies in some unexpected way...he's an old man, and a sick one at that...I hate to say it, but Ali dying wouldn't be a huge surprise, but as someone who has studied him since I've been about 8 years old, and hold him as my all time favorite fighter, yes, I'd grieve...
I've never cried about any death unless it was somebody I knew on a personal level. I'd be really bummed out and sad if some of my favorite fighters/icons of the sport died, but I can't see myself crying, no matter who it was.
...maybe you need to be more in touch with your feminine/sensitive side. ... or did you have some kind of a traumatic experience when you were young where it manifest itself by you being indifferent??? :think
I will be upset if Mike Tyson goes before I do, hell I was really chocked up when I read about his daughter dying, RIP.
Actually seeing a picture of Vernon Forrest with all those mentally disabled persons he assists through charity work made me a little upset. He seemed like a person who was good for the sport and for society. His death being so tragic and senseless over $$ was pretty upsetting. Add in Gatti who has given so much and only a few weeks apart. I was in Vegas for Corrales funeral by chance and went to the viewing which was open to the public. That was a pretty somber event.
SHIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! Ironic words there... you must have cried a lot today when you heard the news because not only did he died but he tookhis own life!!! R You happy now?
