Oh, by attacking Lewis when the fight was over, perhaps? By attempting to kick Lewis when Lewis tried to help him up? There's 2 for you for starters, of course I could bring up him having a go at Corrie Sanders after he'd KO'd WALDO too if you like? VITLAY is a coward, and a bully.

So Liston drew with Clay then? Just using the logic you use for Lewis V VITLAY that's all :rofl Fact is Clay was boxing Listons head off in the latter stages of that fight, similar to Lewis winning round 6 on all 3 cards, before the doctor saved his eyesight and most likely his career.

As for comparing Liston quitting against the greatest HW that ever lived, to VITLAY quitting against Byrd....:patsch:patsch:patsch

What are you talking about? Vitaly showed a lot of heart in that fight. Only haters can say he didn't.

LOL You could say many things about Vitali, but coward is not one of them. In fact, I think mentally he's one of the strongest HWs of the last 25 years. Doesn't mean he has no flaws at all, he does like any fighter, but his mind is not one of them.

If you think a 1964 Clay is the best heavyweight who ever lived, I suggest you study the sport some more. I would pick many a heavyweight over that skittish, light-hitting fighter. Were it 2 years later, we have a different argument on our hands.

Where did I mention heart :huh The question was asked about him acting like a coward and the answer remains - he attacked Lewis while he was doing his post-fight interview, and he tried to kick Lewis when Lewis was helping him up off the canvas, both acts of cowardice in my book.

I never said it was prime Ali, I said Liston quit against the best heavyweight ever, which is infinitely more impressive than quitting against Byrd. Of course if you want to argue that the Byrd that VITLAY quit against is better than the "skittish, light hitting fighter" :)rofl) That Liston quit against in another desperate attempt to big up VITLAY, then be my guest.

I thought you'd left this thread anyway?

What rubbish Clay just defeated a top ten great, name the fighters who would have defeated him so we can have a laugh.
