dude are you ok? did you just read my post and pretend to read what you wanted to hear? Of course its still a loss but he didn't think Jeopardizing his career was worth it, and the Western media didnt agree.

Oh I read your post alright. How about this concept....boxers risk their career every time they step into the ring, right?

I'll leave you with that thought. Come back tomorrow after you've chewed it over and tell me again about how brave VITLAY is because he's from Eastern Europe as opposed to the American slums.

You were suggesting that VITLAY should be judged differently to other quit-jobs due to cultural differences, that's my point.

How was Vitali just using his non-injured arm to cruise to a decision in a fight that all he had to do was hit a little and move preserving his injury? That's bull****. He said "It hurts too much" and quit. Maybe the pain was unbearable, but going out there to move for 2 more rounds isn't going to have him ****ing up his injury anymore.

Clay defeated an old ass, tired fighter who had the quit in him. If this was not apparent then, it was apparent in the next fight. He also just had problems with two 180 lb'ers, a disgrace that would never be afforded a pardon in today's day and age.

    :lol::lol:

Old Corrie's dietitian / nutritionist was a big factor in his success in whooping Wlad from pillar to post and giving Vitali a panic attack before dropping him at the end of the 1st in their fight ...

List the fighters that would defeat Ali at this point in his career.

A 235 Lb. Bowe at his one time very best (vs. Holyfield in November of '92) vs. V. Klitschko at his best? I'll go Bowe in a very tough win.

Best 2 out of 3? I'll take Klitschko.

So, which big heavyweight did Bowe ever outbox, and how many times was he ever matched against a puncher? For someone so focused on resume, you seem to keep conveniently glossing over how well matched Bowe himself was.

I am not talking size. I am talking Skill. Bowe beat a Prime Evander Holyfield. Holyfield is a far better fighter and heavyweight than Vitali could ever hope to be.

    Fighting Weight,

I got a new one for you. Actually this is an old one, but it's still as funny as the day it came out of the barn.

The idea Vitaly was preserving his career must have got lost in translation because the translator commentating at the time said he said 'It hurts too much'. Interesting that the original excuses made for him were he hurt it in the first round. If he hurt it in the first round i dont see the preservation of his career excuse standing up since he went 8 or 9 rounds with the injury before deciding it just wasnt worth risking his career.

Before we get the rush of 'it shows his guts not quiting after one or two rounds' posts, ill remind you Audley Harrison just went 9 rounds fighting one handed (injured shoulder) in a fight he was losing not dominating and got the win

As for Bowe at his best, he does everything better than Vitaly

He sure loves those meaningless bull**** VITLAY stats doesn't he :D

The best one was when he came out with "VITLAY has never been down on the cards in a fight"

Then someone pointed out that Hide won the first round....quick change of username and it became "VITLAY has never been down on the cards after 3 rounds in a fight" :rofl:rofl:rofl
