It certainly was a sharp bettors fight, Stove just picked the wrong side, he actually was looking great in the middle of the fight until Kelly got cut under his eye that energized Martinez. Right before the cut, I had the sinking feeling that Pavlik was gonna win. I have to agree with the large part though. The fight wasn't worthy of a large unit bet.

I wouldn't worry to much with Rudyard. The guy is a *****, has always been a ***** and will forever more be a *****.

At least you manned up and didn't hide like BOORADLEY DID after all his spouting off.

That piece of **** Rudyard can't even spell " a thousand dollars"
We're talkin about a ****er who lives with his parents.

Rudyard has been disappointed with life ever since he discovered his neck isn't long enough for him to suck his own dick.

well the thread had potential to backfire as someone mentioned earlier.
i remember he nailed it right on with the pacman/hatton fight though. predicted an early KO which everyone thought was stupid. its gambling after all, you win some you lose some

I like Arreola in that one. Adamek beat Estrada but never really got his respect with his punches, never really hurt him although I felt he won clearly. Chris could have very well made it the distance with Vitali.

The other side of it is that Chris himself without the extra weight could make cruiser himself if he wanted.......its a tentative pick but I like Chris in that one.

I would expect Martinez to be about a 9/2 favorite. Who do I think would win? Martinez most likely. If I had a thousand bucks and I had to play it one way or the other, Martinez. If I had five bucks to throw away I might still throw it on Pavlik because the payoff the other way is so small.

The thing that concerns me is that Kelly didn't throw when he was cut so bad. He was getting hit anyways so why not at least throw. The way he reacted....the way he was wincing......it looked horrible......it looked exactly to me how some guy on the street would react if he was getting hit and he was totally confused.

However, you could, as a Pavlik fan, try and convince yourself that without the big cut in the 9th that Pavlik may have kept charge of the remaining rounds. But that too is very iffy.

Martinez put on a helluva show and just like Loew said, Pavlik stopped throwing.

well my mindset was Pavlik was going to dominate Martinez so to me that would have been throwing money away.
