ESB'ers are famous as premature ejaculators over fighters who seem to become overnight sensations.

Martinez is a good fighter who has been fighting the same way for quite a while now. His ring IQ might be a bit higher than when he fought Margarito but so is Margarito's. And as I mentioned earlier, their respective styles have not really changed that much over the years so I really doubt Martinez will be able to accomplish a complete turn around over their first fight.

Martinez was able to beat Pavlik not only on his own merits but because of The Ghost's lack of pressure and output, qualities Margarito doesn't lack.

Margarito's return to the ring will answer a lot of questions and personally I'm looking forward to that.

On an end not, what's with all the race trolling.:patsch

Kirkland won't be the same fighter when released from jail.
Margarito took a horrible beating from Mosley and it's very hard to say what that did to his confidence. I don't see Margarito winning a fight against Martinez.
Much like Pavlik, Margarito has a hard time against skilled boxers.......and that's what Martinez is.
Margarito seems to have slowed down as well. 6 or 7 years ago Margarito was a better fighter.......and a faster fighter.
Today's Margarito is flat footed.....slow and plods straight forward which is a recipe for disaster.

As you know I'm a Margarito fan........I just don't think he has what it takes anymore.

Only if he carries his gun into the ring with him. Kirkland should stay in jail where he belongs

Margarito is better on the inside than Pavlik so I expect Margarito to make him pay when he comes in.

I love the biasness of some posters here. Tony Margarito was tried in a kangaroo court & banned despite there being no evidence he ever loaded his gloves & wAS BANNED. While Shane Mosely who admitted recently he KNEW he was taking banned EPO before the DelaHoya fight gets away scot free & is set to earn big$$$$$$$ againt Donald Duck Mayfeather on May 1
    Where is the jusice here?????????????

    There was no proof?

How many times are you going to ignore the proof everyone shows you?

Even your boy freddy admits the wraps were loaded.

Proof: "traces of sulfur and calcium"!

That **** would have been laughed out of court.

Or are you one of those who actually believes he had cement or bricks in his gloves

    A worthless opinion.

There's actually proof that the opposite took place!

So because it wasn't one of those two things it means it was legal?

Why were the pads hard? Why did he manager admit the wraps were pre treated 2 weeks prior?

Or did you not even know the pads were hard?
