The point is, some boxing writers (Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports) tried to make it appear that Floyd was the one actively seeking the Mosley fight. Do you believe it?
I think Ellerbe is a smart manager. I believe he makes statements such as those where it's impossible to either disprove or prove the statement. Yet, they're most likely false, but he can get away with it.

Most of the time, Team Mayweather hyped Floyd's fights with false statements since Floyd's boring style of boxing can't create any hype (except for the purist).
