Floyd is a one upper,he probably saw someone like Diddy hanging around with seven bodyguards and decided to one up Diddy and hired eight to protect his ass from flies and bees.

 

I think it feeds his own ego. All celebrities need security- but even brad pitt and jolie have only 2 guards full time. This guy just likes to have a possie of big dudes on his payroll- which is all they are. 8 is overboard. but then again- manny has 30 friends who are his detail- i mean the guy has dudes with ak47s at his house in Manilla- but he needs it. the fact that floyd turns up at the gym - with NO fans hanging out the front or asking for an autograph is kind of hilarious- its almost like he wishes he had that kind of attention- or thinks he draws it. Michael jordan only has 3 bodyguards for ****s sake. its just small man syndrome- he wants to lead an army.

 

This is a joke right??? Who cares, if was worth millions I'd have a whole entourage with me at all times....fans and regular people are nuts, you dont know what they would do, lots of envy and malice in this world

The AK wielding bodyguards are in his hometown of General Santos City, in the deep southern Philippines. Some places there are very dangerous.

 

I dont know who DJ Vlad is. I'm sure 2 body guards would be enough for Ross' "crew".

RIGHT?!? I admit I don't like the guy because of his natural arrogance, but c'mon, you gotta admit the guy has a few haters..... who should ****ing care if the guy has 8 or 80 bodyguards, if he can afford them!!!!!ii

 

Number 1, he only has 7 bodyguards. Number 2, a lot of these guys have had troubled pasts and are basically given this job to keep them out of trouble. Number 3, it really doesn't matter how many people he has in his security detail. You really have to take a step back if you're taking the time to actullay criticise someone for having too many members in his security detail.

 

Only a terribly insecure individual is concerned and angered with a strangers business and hates him for it.

 

Nobody needs its but if you can afford it then go for it.

Hell If I could afford to have 10 high end cars then I'd buy em....

As for the OP,

He has an 8 man detail I don't see how that's an issue.
