anybody else notice before start of the 11th round pavlik said "I wanna throw in the towel" I have a lot of respect for pavlik for finishing the fight but he should start lookin for a new cut man I understandthe cut was really bad but his cutman never seemed to even slow down the blood. your thoughts?
they should have pulled him out in the 10th he wasent gonna win that fight and took punishment chasing (not realy chasing more like gave up and plodded) a lost cause
Could have been blinded permanently. I noticed him trying to quit, but 3 cuts all close to the eye... horrible corner.
no it hasn't been confirmed and im sure his corner would never admit to it he tried to quit and his corner said " you can't you ****ing can't"
I agree and im no cut expert but it looked like he didn't use anything to try but apply pressure I wasunder the impression they had more tools to stop cuts from bleeding like crazy
Why does Pavlik keep referring to Martinez as "the kid" in interviews? Does he realize Martinez is 35 years old?
That's because Martinez looks like a healthy, well conditioned athlete, while Pavlik looks like a drunken crackhead.
that's what I thought can't be a world champ and still have a poor cutman when ur world champ you usually fight other champs or solid fighters at the very least his cutman is more of a liability than an asset
