Ive read loads of interviews with Ricky and he often says he's proud of being the only one to ever stop Castillo. But, unless im wrong, he's been stopped other times?

Maybe means stopping him early? think it was the fourth round.
But wasnt that the first time Castillo has ever been knocked down?

Maybe he means KO. Not TKO...

the Castillo he fought wasnt half of the fighter that he was before his weight issues.

bragging about that is pretty pathetic i think.

Say what you want about Hatton and his limitations, but one thing he could do was bang to the body, and he hit Castillo with a solid livershot, and broke a couple of ribs. I'd brag about a shot like that too.

I hated that fight, Castillo was forced into because he desperately needed the money

thats true, he was a warrior, and the way he aged so suddenly after the first Corrales fight was tragic, but i guess thats what a fight that takes u to hell and back will do to u. inknow he won the rematch, but coming in overweight didnt do anything for his legacy. The first fight, even tho he lost, will always be his mona lisa, while Hattons will be having his head hit the turnbuckle lol.
Also the collapse of his marriage, and management issues etc also affected him badly, so sad, felt really bad for him in the fight against gomez on the Pac-Clottey undercard.

It was evident that Castillo took a dive against Hatton. He only showed up for a paycheck that was being handed over to the IRS.

Money had already ruined Castillo in two fights YEARS before Hatton even got into the ring w/ Castillo.
