No, its a mismatch, and Berto wont be able to get away with half the bitching and moaning he did against Quintana.
Infact Manny is quick enough to put him to sleep as he's turning towards the referee, cos as Lennox says, "you've gotta protect yourself at all times" and berto doesnt do that lol

Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley are most likely locked into each othe for the time being. I supect that regaurdless of the result there will be a rematch. I have made it clear who I think is responisable for Manny Pacquiao/Floyd Mayweather not happing in the past. There is nothing that can be done about it now.
Should Manny Pacquiao take a fight with Andre Berto? Is there out side of Mayweather and Mosley a better welterweight oppoent for Pacquiao than Berto? I don't think there is. Is Berto someone who he should be able to beat? I think he is. Is Berto a big enough name to get the public intrested?
He may not be as big of a name as Clottey, Cotto or Mayweather or Mosley, but he is a champion who is knowing in the boxing world.
Considering the realistict options for Manny Pacquiao Andre Berto is probbly the best opition if he is going to stay at 147.

 

Roach and scumbag Arum will keep PacGwire away from anyone that poses a threat. And Berto is indeed on that list.

 

Berto doesn't deserve that fight but he's smart to push for it, he needs to cash out before he gets beat down. I have Andre marked out as a sacrifice for Cotto's comeback.

This fight isn't going to happen. I joked before that you have to be a Top Rank fighter, or shot, or weight drained, or coming off a loss to fight Manny. There is some truth to that though. Manny is Top Rank's cash cow. They're not going to take any risks with him. They'll put him in there with Mayweather if the situation is right given how much money that fight is worth. They won't take any chances otherwise unless it's against a Top Rank fighter. Pac would be fully expected to run through Berto, and maybe he would. However, Berto has size, power, strength, speed, and solid movement. He has a lot of flaws as a fighter, but he has a enough strenghts and doesn't bring enough money to the table for Top Rank to seriously consider him as an opponent for Pacquiao.

 

Manny would KO Berto. Berto loses to Manny, Mayweather and Mosley if he ever stepped into the ring with them. Manny could fight Berto should Mayweather lose to Mosley as he'll demand a rematch.

Nor I wouldn be surprised to see Mosley fight Berto should he lose to Mayweather while Pac/Mayweather get it on.
