He has no choice but to fight one more tomato can after Monte due to television contractual obligations. And **** all the Haye supporters bashing Tua for this-- didn't he get to fight Valuev after Monte anyway?? WAR TUA!!!
Stop complaining. Even in his current state, Barrett is quite a step up from that last opponent Tua fought. You can't expect him to just leap up from a D level, to the A or B level. He's getting there, and Barrett is a fairly decent step up from Cameron. Go, Tua. That said, Barrett is apparently not afraid to get in there with anyone. He gets has ass handed to him, over and over again. I wonder if he's given up hope of every doing anything, and is merely doing whatever he can for the money.
there would have been zero US tv money behind Tua-Arreola because Tua wanted that fight in NZ and there is no way any US network would pay the expenses to go there and put that fight on. Had it been in the US, ok, but going to NZ would be cost prohibitive. It's just not a big fight.
some common sense at last... ...and by the way, I dont hear anyone calling Tua out...can anyone ?? who would really want to step in against the Tuaman? Sounds like Tua will need to put himself in a postion/ranking where no one can avoid him. Good to get these 2 contractual fights out of the way and then we will see some real action.
Who said the fight would be in NZ?!? Tua's next fight is in Brazil, They could have dont it anywhere - Chris could have been knocked out in his own back yard fss
Yeah, he's the face of the new generation. He also occasionally guest hosts TRL...and randomly pops up out of the olympic-size jacuzzi with a snorkel on to scare the crap out of the bikini-clad coeds on The Real World in lighthearted cameos.
I'd really really like to see him have ten minutes in a locked room with the cast of Jersey Shore. I've only seen that show once, and I could wish anything on them more than being set upon by a pissed off David Tua.
