I think Johnson would outbox him for 7-8 rounds but i dont think Johnson will be able to keep Marciano off him. Nor do i think that Johnson has the chin to take Marciano's power. I pick Marciano by a stoppage in the later rounds.

A fight of this magnitued would have to be about 50 rnds wouldnt it? Or maybe no limit would be better.

Rocky would slaughter Johnson. Too strong, and too much pressure. I think Rocky would really get to him in the middle rounds, possibly sooner. He'd knock out Johnson's gold tooth.

I like Johnson to contain the Rock inside and take a decision, but a tough fight.

I think Johnson´s wrestling, mauling and strength would trouble Rocky.

All depends on the insdie game. Johnson was a master at closing the shop. Marciano's short arms and smaller size would actually help him here.

I believe Johnson to be the better HW but Marciano's style woudl really help him. It's easy to imagine Marciano pulling free and enjoying the wrestling etc... Even so, Johnson's uppercut was a great punch and I think his extra class would take it.

Marciano would wear him down with his awkward Rhythm breaking style. Fight goes into later rds and Johnson goes down hard from the pace and a late rush by Marciano

Johnson weighed 192 for Burns, hardly a huge weight advantage over the Rock, who could come in as high as 190. Johnson was great at smothering in the clinches, ripping away with that uppercut, but he wouldn't have the advantage in physical strength with somebody who was fanatical about developing his own. Even if Lil' Artha' successfully used his defensive wizardry to keep Marciano's knockout power from putting him out, Jack simply didn't have the hustle to outpoint him. This could look a lot like Hart-Johnson was reported to have appeared, with Rocky's face beaten to a pulp by the end, but Johnson's blows not having the necessary force to otherwise damage Marciano.

Johnson stated he was at his best against Jeffries, fitness wise,he scaled 208lbs for that fight,Marciano only once scaled 189lbs in a defence, against Cockell , so there would be nearly 20lbs disparity between them,I see no reason why Marciano would be 190lbs.

I do not think Johnson was a huge hitter ,but he hit hard enough, one right uppercut broke Moran's nose.Jack took out Sam McVey in the 20th round so he was capable of stoppng a man even late in a fight, he kod Tom Cowler in the 25th rnd when he was 41years old.
