I don't need or want any magic man is a ***** or khan is a glass jawed fraud stuff, just would like to hear some discussion about who each of you thinks will take this. I'm leaning pretty heavily towards the much improved Malignaggi in this one. Kid has massive heart. Roach in Khan's corner is the only thing that worries me, I think the speed will be less of a factor than is being made out.

Yeah I think by 8th round. Khan will shine in this fight.

I'm interested as to why you think that a prime Cotto couldn't stop him when he was still green, but current Khan can, esp. when Malignaggi has made tremendous improvements over the last couple of fights. Not saying it is wrong to think that this could happen, but would just like to hear reasoning as to why.

I can't imagine Khan stopping Paulie, even as I can't see Paulie stopping Khan... Khan doesn't have enough power for Malignaggi's very good chin and Paulie laks power alltogether and even doesn't have enough for Khan's very bad chin.

Erm.... I'm going for a Khan UD (maybe a narrow one)

However don't expect it to be an easy nights work, as Paulie is far more experienced and crafty than anyone Khan has faced before. In fact, I'd go as far as to say Paulie is one of the most under rated fighters in the 140 division. Yeah he's had a few stinkers in the past, and he's a bit of an ass sometimes, but he's still a talented guy who seems rejuvenated under his new trainer.

But with that said, I hope Khan impresses in his first outting in the US, wins a few of the New York fans over. He's an exciting prospect in this division, and it'll be good for the sport if he reaches his potential

I see this going a similar way to the Paulie - Hatton fight. I don't think Paulie gets KO'ed but he might be stopped on his feet. It could be close-ish through 6 with Amir taking over down the stretch beating Paulie to the punch and having superior energy levels late in the fight. UD for Amir (3 or 4 rounds) or TKO in the late rounds.

I'd say Khan has a better chance of stopping Malignaggi than Cotto did. Reason being, Khan is a much quicker, crisper puncher than Cotto. Cotto relies more on his heavy body attack to wear his opponent down, whereas Khan has blinding handspeed and can hit you in the blink of an eye. Speed is power.

    Khan stoppage I say.

Khan, late stoppage. Paulie has improved, but i just don't think he has enough.

With the jaw Khan has, this might end up being Malignaggi's first KO in years.
