Lots of rumors flying round recently, coupled with aleged negotiations with GoldenBoy promotions etc.

Is he to make a return to the ring?

Are the rumors based on fact or just bull? There seems to be many different news organisations reporting bits here and there so maybe it has some basis in truth.

If so who could he fight? A tune up fight first and maybe Dawson or Super Six winner?

    hmmm.

Well, this is a guy who is really jealous of Carl Forch. Calzghe is sorta having trouble accepting that Froch has taken over his division since he left and stole the spotlight.

Seems likely that he'll comeback, just from the sheer number and weight of the rumours.

The last one I read, said a possible comeback opponent was Robin Reid.

Which is laughable, really. But typical Calzaghe.

If he wants to have any sort of 'celebrity' career then he has to make a comeback to put all of the drug issues behind him, I don't see any high profile tv show wanting to have anything to do with him until he shows he's turned himself around and his dreary personality means he can't talk himself into a better light.

Rematch Hopkins and Jones to cement his legendary status even further.

Yes heard that also, not that bad tho if it is just a tune up.

After 2 yrs out of the ring a tune up before a bigger fight 6 months later would be acceptable.

Why? He schooled Jones in their fight, what would a rematch prove?
And Hopkins? Why would he want to risk his 0 by taking a dangerous fight like that? Makes no sense!

His only logical fight would be at LWW for a title after a tune up. But i WONT happen, he has nothing to prove, no disire to fight again, and he looked old and slow in his last 2 bouts.

You need to check your sarcasm-meter, it doesn't appear to be functioning.

Chad Dawson is the LHW Champ, a very good fighter in his prime. Calzaghe doesn't even need to beat him to gain my total respect, just fight him.

Seriously tho, someone in the mid range for a tuneup is acceptable. As long as there is a 'superfight' against Dawson or the SuperSix winner after that.

Disgraceful, Calzaghe is ducking out of a rematch with Tocker Pudwill.
