look mate, you ain't bad or anything, just asking you to really think about if haye or calzaghe could happen. Joe is light heavy at he most, he would be fat at cruiser, whereas haye was big enough at cruiser, and is getting solid at heavy.
it's a non starter. Joe would lose so much advantage at heavy, and haye could never ever boil down to lhw even.

    Two Words ... Size Difference.

Calzaghe ain't so much better than Haye that he could compensate for that. Haye's a fast man and would only need one glancing shot to put Joe down. That's not dissing Calzaghe; it's just the facts.

Cheers officer avidlemon, do you not think that Enzo Calzaghe- one of the greatest and most knowlegable trainers in the history of the sport. Would have the knowledge and indeed god given skill to put solid muscle on Calzaghe's incredible frame. Thus turning him into a heavyweight powerhouse. I believe that Kosaras once made a great case for Calzaghe beating Ali, ever since reading that post i've been a believer.

Don't hate Calzaghe, hate the game. :deal

Why are you dissing Joe? Calzaghe is 47-0 and has barely lost a handful of rounds against true world class fighters in there prime.

i dont hate calzaghe really, and he has a great chin at smw, not too bad at lhw, by the time you get to heavy, a good jab is going to cause him problems. It's not hate, it is just genetics. I think it is impossible, unless they do an ivan drago on him, and pump him full of drugs and ****

I think that would be probably the best way to approach the fight. Just pump him full of coke, smack and roids. Swap **** with the drugs test. And let the magic happen.

    Calzaghe W12.

    His record speaks for himself.

Only five times did his fighters enter the ring as underdogs, and only on five occasions were they knocked out.

His article in the Fighting Fitness magazine was sincerely one of the most amusing things i've ever read. In a magazine full of people who have spent their lives studying every aspect of health and fitness Enzo sighted his magic powers and love of Jazz music as the reason behind his success.

Nothing to do with the 350 matches his fighters engaged in against over-matched opponents then. :good

Asked Calzaghe about this once and he said no way. Like others I felt he must have got the better of Enzo in sparring and wondered if the thought crossed his mind after Enzo was KOed. He said it never did

U mean you asked Calzaghe about a comptitive match up only one division north of the one he was 'world' champion in and he **** himself? Not a chance. You don't get to 47-0 with a mentality like that.
