right now, pac is miles ahead of floyd in the p4p rankings that a victory over mosley would not be enough for floyd to surpass pac. pac for the past 2 years have beaten marquez, diaz, oscar, hatton, cotto and clottey. floyd only had marquez at welter.

It's a shame you think negotiations had to happen in the first place. Pac's passed all his officially mandated drug tests and there was absolutely no proof, no Balco scandal, no whistleblower, no witness, that Pac had ever used PEDs. Floyd had a right to ask. Pac also had the right to refuse. Floyd isn't the govrning body for drug testing just like Pac isn't the governing body for overweight fines. Two wrongs don't make a right. I hope you were taught that growing up.

 

You're right that he has the right to refuse and instead fight Clottey for 6MM while Mayweather makes 40MM against SSM.

You're certainly right about this. And people have a right to come to their own conclusions as to why Floyd asked and why Pacquiao said no to a $25M drug test.

 

pac was breathing down floyd neck by then. if not for his close fight with marquez and floyd's ko of hatton, pac would have surpassed floyd by then especially that he is not too active. and pac did not win p4p#1 by default because even if floyd did not retired, he would not remain at the spot without fighting top welters like cotto and others who he avoided back then.

Everyone has an agenda. If someone hates somebody so much they'll view that person in the most negative way possible and come to their own personal conclusions to make that person look in the worst possible way. They won't need soild facts or proof to back up their beliefs.

It works both ways. Why would Pacquiao fight Clottey for 6MM when he could have fought Mayweather for 25MM at the very minimum?
