Why does Adamek look taller than Arreola?

In the press conference photos Adamek clearly looks taller, but on BOxrec, he is listed as 6'1.5" and Arreola listed as 6'4".

 

I think that its because of the angle. However Arreola is shorter than 6'4 and Adamek is taller than 6'1/2. Add to Adameks height 1 inch and take 1 inch from Arreolas height and it should be correct to me.

 

Maybe Tomasz had a very late grow spurt, or was wearing his 'friday night pumps'? :huh Don't know... A lot of people are puzzled by this.

Tomek is about 6'1.5. I met him recently and Im 6'3 and he was slightly shorter then me

 

Cause Arreola's stats are bs. Also people have this impression that Adamek must be a small fighter because of his days at light heavy. Its a psychological thing. Standing next to Arreola, Adamek does not look small at all. This will not be the contrast you got when Minto was fighting Arreola. The width of Adamek's shoulders is a bit narrower than Cris's but even Klits' shoulders are narrower than his. Adamek has noticeably bigger fists.

 

Than no way in hell is Arreola 6'4"

 

Anyways there's way too much emphasis on inches here. This fight will not be decided by height at all.

Boxrec says Arreola is 6'1

 

I trust Golota is a solid 6'-4" so maybe that could be a good reference. My guess is Tomasz is at least 6"-2".

 

Sometimes when there is a height disparity they have the taller fighter take his shoes off during the photo shoot. That, and the camera angle probably explains it.
