...why's he fighting someone he accuses of taking steroids/PEDs? I'm trying to get my head round it. He's said repeatedly how he's cleaning up the sport, introducing stricter drug testing etc. But surely, if he's really serious about it, he'd flat out refuse to fight anyone connected with steriod/PED use? He'd surely shun anyone like that, and make them an outcast to boxing? It seems like he's doing the exact opposite. He's actively engaging and giving a platform to someone he accuses of taking steriods/PEDs. It just doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone have an explanation? P.S. This should all be regardless of who the fighter is, their ranking, their threat to the division etc. If you're taking the stance Floyd says he is, all that should become meaningless.
Cause he's not...it was only intended for Pac. He'd look stupid if he doesn't apply it to all his fights from now on.
floyd is on about cleaning the sport, and now he's fighting someone who took enhancements, but he's making that fighter like himself take tests that will prove he's now not taking anything for that fight. what floyd is doing is only a positive reaction for the sport we love, but i'm not shocked that some will try to turn it into a negative reaction. typical.
If Floyd's cleaning up Boxing... THEN WHY'S HE SUCH A DIRTY ***** OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
But that's the whole point of the tests, to ensure both athletes are clean. Floyd is asking for these tests because he lacks confidence in the current system. If he's supremely confident in The USADA testing system, then he should be willing to fight anyone without any regards as to whether or not they are juicing. Punishing guys who cheated almost a decade ago doesn't help clean up the sport. Preventing guys from coming into the ring loaded up with PEDs does help.
we can chat as much **** as we want about pac being on steroids, but the real question has to be asked, why didn't pac accept the 14 day layoff? i remember pacquiao stating that he's not against blood tests, it's just he doesn't want to do it one day before the fight. well **** me, even 14 days is not long enough for him now. i don't want to believe it, but i'm not gullible, and something dodgy about pacquiao's reaction to this whole thing.
Because the NSAC blatantly stated they have no intention of changing their policy. There are also 50 commissions in the U.S. Imagine if our forefathers decided to petition England to give them their independence instead of fighting for it.
is floyd investigating Andre Ward and his association with Victor Conte? is floyd investigating Holyfield/Evan Fields and the random testing used before the Botha fight? ... or is floyd just a fraud who got scared and spooked by Pacquiao's superiority and realzied it's better to duck the fight and keep on handpicking than get knocked out by an oriental warriior.
I like how floyd fans drink every flavor of kool aid he puts out. Not even 1 of them keeps an open mind or remains objective.
