I know all this mate, knew it when I asked for the fight. I think your putting John on a pedastal....he has completed 12 rounds on 5 occasions yes, good for him. He has lost all 5 though. Im not worrying about anything, I know what I can do and im expecting the usual tough and strong John Simpson.

    All the best

I think both fighters will know what they are up against, and that even in this relatively early stage in ste's career that he could potentially be giving simpson one of the toughest, if not the toughest fight of his career

Martin's last three opponents were very good domestic fights - he hasnt exactly been cutting corners. It looks like he will move on to a European Title shot next. If he got in the ring with Simpson he would outbox him, he is a far superior boxer. Simpson is a tough warrior and is in great condition, but he isnt on the same level as a boxer as Martin.

I havent seen Stephen Smith - but a lot of people on here rate him very highly - I will be interested to see how he deals with Simpson.

Fair play Stephen i admire your thirst to be challenging better opponents and indeed asking to fight them.

To me this seems not the norm for a FW prospect ........... i dunno what's wrong with him there like to be putting you forward against a good opponent so early on???

Good luck anyway but i feel Simpson may be too early for you at this stage in your pro career
