you know i don't like floyd, but i think hell take it like a man sometimes losing makes you a better person .
Unfortunately for Floyd he earns alot of money but spends it even faster. He has money problems even now in his earning prime. So that means that he wont have money after prizefighting. Which means he will need to fight after his prime and will get beaten to a pulp. The smart guys aren't the ones with 0's. The smart guys are the ones who leave the sport while on top: Marciano, Lennox, Calzaghe, Hagler etc. Those guys spent less than they earnt.
I can't see him getting stopped either, I think he would lose a UD to Pac, I can't see him losing to Shane in any way (though of course I am hoping!). Then again, I remember what a shock it was when Tarver smashed out Jones the first time. It can happen to more or less anyone I suppose. We don't even know how good Floyd's chin is, because his defence is so good he hardly ever gets hit. His chin looked weak against Chop-Chop Corley, but then again he looked very strong and in control vs De La Hoya. Who knows.
To give Floyd credit, he got caught at the worst possible time in the Corley match. He was throwing his own punch (the straight, I think) and Corely hit him in the midst of that motion with a massive overhead shot, with real body weight behind it, turning the punch over/twisting his waist for full force. It was a mean punch, with perfect timing (whether or not Corley achieved it via skill or just luck) and, to be honest, I'm actually surprised it didn't floor Floyd. I'm pretty sure it would have knocked down quite a few other fighters.
I HAD HIM WINNING 114-112....OFFICIALLY HE WON THOUGH SO EVERYONE CAN HAVE THEIR LITTLE OPINIONS BUT OFFICIALLY HE GOT THE W AND I HAPPEN TO AGREE.. I DONT AGREE WITH THE WIDE SCORES THE JUDGES HAD BUT I DO AGREE WITH THE DECISION..COULD HAVE GONE THE OTHER WAY BUT IT DIDNT ..HATERS LOVE USING THAT FIGHT TO SAY "FLOYD LOST"..FU34IN DUMBASSES DONT REALIZE THEIR OPINION DONT CHANGE THE FACT THAT HE REALLY WON:good
Yeah I think Floyd has another 2 -or 3 good years in him then he should hang em up and not stick around too long.
I'm telling you guys, Mayweather is very similar to Hopkins. He's smart, he's defensive, he always trains hard, and he's very disciplined. I highly doubt you will ever see him get his ass handed to him. If he loses, it will be a decision where he simply didn't let his hands go enough. Hopkins is frickin 45 and still hasn't taken a beating. Mayweather is in that same mold.
