I have nothing against Floyd as a person ore as a fighter

 

Most of these guys were always a division or more a head of Floyd. Seriously, Trinidad was fighting at MW in 2001 when Mayweather was at 130. When the **** was that fight going to happen? Margo, Cotto, and Tszyu are the only legit names on that list. You think anyone will Floyd much **** for not fighting Cotto or Margo if he beats Shane and Pac?

Cotto , right after he whooped Mosley. At that time the boxingfans where screaming for a Floyd VS Cotto showdown. At that time the fight would be a toss up. Who was betting favourite When May fought Hatton?

 

The Pac fight will never happen:good

 

Mayweather was a 2/1 fave over Hatton as well as Hoya at 154. No way in hell would Cotto have been a betting favorite at anytime against Mayweather.

 

Floyd Mayweather is incredibly talented. As far as pure boxing skill goes, the man is second to none. He is one of the greatest defensive fighters in the history of the sport - to 5 (defensively) easily.

With all that said, it's not hard to see why so many people dislike (or HATE) PBF. What comes out of his mouth at times is pure verbal diarrhea. Watch the first few minutes of 24/7 part II, when Mayweather was saying "dumb mutha ****a! You 38 years old! Mutha ****a, mutha ****a!" All of that was completely uncalled for. I can honestly say that Floyd's attitude throughout this 24/7 has made me sick to my stomach at times. The guy desperately needs to learn to have some humility. "Are we testing today? Yes!" "Mosley got caught and I didn't! Na na na na!" I mean come on...what are you 10 years old, Floyd?

PBF's behavior in this 24/7 has put me on the brink of hoping he gets he ass knocked out cold by Mosley...one more episode with this vituperation from Floyd, and I'll officially switch sides....

 

I have enjoyed watching Mayweather rip through all of his opponents with relative ease over the past 7 or 8 years.

I have also enjoyed listening to him talk **** and then go out and back it up.

I was in Manchester a couple of weeks before the Hatton fight and those idiots were singing the Hatton song in pubs, everyone talking about how Ricky was going to get Floyd. hahahahaha

 

Ask yourself why Floyd has never fought a Bob Arum fighter.

You can't really be a fan of floyd unless you subscribe to his bull****. Everyone who would have been a fan was turned off when he started cherry picking and bragging about it.

As soon as he called himself the goat, you had to draw the line... either he was really that great, or being a complete idiot.

You can tell from the intellect of the "he really is that great" bunch exactly why most boxing fans don't like floyd. While they do appreciate his boxing skills, they would rather he just retire and leave the sport to the risk takers.

 

i agree that Margo and Cotto are the only legit names on the list.

but i would add mosley too, because timing is everything. he should have fought, at least one, preferably two, or the best outcome, 3 of them 3 years ago when they were doing their round robin to see who's top dog at ww. who cares if baldo was the linear champion.

 

How about he could have fought the winner of Baldomir-Zab before the fought the loser?
