Yeah, its not likee Wlad was asking the poor little guy to come and fight, now, and not get any rest, first.

Wlad was merely asking for his TEAM to get the fight deal worked out, while Haye rests, and does whatever he wants for MONTHS, yet. The proposed fight is not until late summer, and Haye is too tired to even have his PEOPLE get the fight negotiated that is half a year away?

Bottom line............He mouthed Wlad, now Wlad is available and wants Haye in the ring...........But now that its time to put up, Haye realizes that he'll get his ass handed to him. Period. :good

So he has his manager say he's all about resting up, right now.

He's avoiding a brutal KO loss. That is what he's doing. :good

Haye doesn't even have the time to think about any opponents. Haye will likely take needed time off, then fight the winner of Kali Meehan vs Chagaev.

Alright everyone calm down. You have to understand that Haye is tired and needs time to recover. How is that ducking?

Booth is too busy. Haye has to fight the winner of Meehan vs Chagaev, and Valuev has a rematch clause.

Hold on, Haye - Ruiz was announced on the 26th of Jan, discussions took say 1-2 weeks max?
Haye beat Valuev on the 7/11 a full TWO MONTHS before discussions with Ruiz would have started.

I didn't hear anyone bitching about the length of time that took.

Yet people want Klitschko - Haye negotiations to start 18 days after the Ruiz fight.

    GTFO, seriously, check yourselves.

I don't see any problem with that, almost all fighters do the same. He can start focusing on his next opponent when he gets his well deserved rest. Wladimir had his share of similar comments after fights as well so I don't see the issue.

when his fights are starting to stretch 6-7 months a part, then it kinda sucks.....so everyone happy with 2 fights a year these days? point is....he will fart around, fart around and pick a douche bag opponent , kinda like a ruiz...so when he actually fights again, it will be 1 year since he won the title and has 2 defenses, against an undeserving john ruiz who no one gave a **** about...and whatever guy (chagev or meehan) wins next. whoever predicted the heavyweight division would be all out excitement in 2010, boy they were on point...im excited thinking about it
