Very true, but that was old Wlad and the new Wlad has amazing defense. But I do agree with this thread.......Haye is scared. He needs to quit running and step up to the plate instead of running that big mouth.

Damn you guys are stupid. Haye just fought 3 weeks ago. Of course hes resting. Every fighter is supposed to rest right after training and then fighting, idiots. Your hero Wladimir rests too. Well actually, he rests during the fights because his fights r so whack.

No one is saying that he should be fighting Wlad tomorrow or next month. He should have at least responded to Klitschko's challenge somehow, but he chose to hide. Booth's comment that negotiations with the Klitschkos were a few days away was yet another smoke screen from the Haye camp who want to hold onto the WBA belt for as long as they can.

A rest or break from the action after any fight is expected and considered a normal part of a boxers schedule. When it comes to Haye however he tends to take extended breaks and in the last two-ish years has fought just 3 times. I've never seen someone have so much trouble with finding opponents, negotiating with possible opponents, and "injuries". Haye's so inactive now that I wouldn't even consider him a part time fighter. He's just a business man whose only interest is in protecting his ability to make money in the sport and fighting a Klitschko poses to much risk and not enough reward.

The David Haye that got so many of us excited when he announced after crushing Enzo Mac that he'd clean up the division and rid us of bad mismatches and fat guy 1 vs. fat guy 2 no longer exists. He's not the same man nor the same fighter he was prior to his move up in weight. His work rate in the ring has dropped noticeably and he fights once or twice a year. I'm a huge Haye supporter but these games he and Booth appear to be playing have gotten really old. **** or get off the pot Haye!

Haye is a fraud i've said that fom day one. He talked himself into contention I knew he would never back up his words but I am suprised so many others were tricked by his words because boxing is replete with scenarios with fighters like Haye who talk rather than act; a true seasoned fan should know better than to fall foul to Haye's bull**** tbh.

Yes because when you have a KO rate of 88% picking up that oh-so-heavy phone and moving yours lips to say the words 'make the fight' can be so so very downright exhausting.

Poor Haye. three weeks since Ruiz and he still can't make it out of bed. Ruiz put a hell fire beating on him for sure. We should all club in nd get him some flowers; i suggest Pansies.

LOL!!! I'm guessing you don't know much about boxing, mate.

The hate for Haye is a joke on this forum, it really is. You should all have a word with yourselves.
