Wlad can't hold Joe's jockstrap. Frazier would KILL Klitschko (either one of them).

Different eras, one shall never count out Frazier, but he's in trouble in this one.

The onlt trouble Joe Frazier would be in against Wladimir Klitschko is possibley going to prison for manslaughter.

Let's be realistic, Frazier would barely be able to get into the top 10 today.

heard george chuvalo talking about this on u-tube,he said hes like no other fighter wlads ever faced and would put consant pressure on him which he does not like.chuvalo said wlad punches likes hes on rashins, doesn't think that would be enough to hold off a rushing frazier

Wlad would look very good until Joe landed a left hook.

71' Joe Frazier definitely stops Wlad.

And it would be very possible for Wlad to KO Frazier, if he lets his hands go and catches Frazier early. Frazier was tough and had a good chin, but he could get hit and Wlad has enormous punching power. But we also know that Wlad would be too cautious, maybe even too intimidated, to come out swinging, so he'd just cautiously jab and try and keep his distance.

Which he wouldn't be able to do against Frazier. Frazier would find his way past the jab and break Wlad down on the inside. Wlad is clueless when it comes to inside fighting, and Frazier was one of the best - even when Wlads holds a lot, he will get hit to the body and chin, tire and panic, and get stopped.

I don't think Fraizer matches up well against these supersized, power punching heavyweights. I just can't get Fraizer vs Foreman out of my head. Yes, Foreman was more vicious, and more durable than Wlad. But Fraizer's willingness to take three to get one will land him in a world of being knocked out.
He's also so short and too slow of foot. Clinchko will grab him if he gets too close. To beat Clinchko, you need some size to go with that power, or you'll need quicker footwork to get in. At leas, you'll need an unbreakable chin. I think a young Tua would have a better shot than Fraizer due to the strong chin.

I think Frazier's head movement and power gives Wlad lots of problems. Frazier late KO.

Anybody who thinks a 205 lbs Frazier stands after the first round is delusional.

Frazier would beat Wlad, I'm sure of it. He brings an enormous amount of pressure and that is something that Wlad doesn't like. He will make Wlad work for 3 minutes a round, his constant head movement and crouching style will make it difficult for Wlad to jab him back, and he's going to force Wlad to constantly shift his feet and try and keep the range.

The problem is most of Wlad's opponents have no answer for the jab and can do nothing about it. Ruslan Chagaev employed some half decent head movement and he has done better than most of Wlad's recent opponents. Frazier employs great head movement with a relentless pressure style and a big punch output.

If Wlad has a weakness to any particular punch aswell, then I feel that punch would most likely be the left hook. He's going to have to take punches and Frazier could bang with the best of them. He literally broke George Chuvalo's face, so imagine what would happen if he lands big consistently on Wlad.

His relentless pressure style and constantly forcing Wlad to shift his feet and move, aswell as his ability to bang to the body when instead, will work Wlad down. Wlad can hurt him, but I don't feel he can catch him with a clean enough shot to really do so. Frazier is not getting knocked out by a single punch by anybody, and Wlad doesn't do aggression, he is not a good finisher when it comes to having an opponent hurt.

Ali with the footspeed of '67 would have undoubtedly caused Frazier more problems than the '71 FOTC version, although he was still quick on his feet. The FOTC showed that you needed a tremendous advantage in foot speed if you were going to beat Frazier. I don't feel Wlad is quick enough on his feet to do what I said and continously shift his feet and move and re-establish his range when Frazier gets past the jab, nor do I feel he has the stamina to lug his 6'6½ 240lb frame around for 12-15 rounds.

That's funny, because 209lb Eddie Chambers made it all the way to the last 10 seconds of the 12th. I guess 4½ lbs makes all the difference, aye?

    Log off. Now.

shear size isn't always the deciding factor in a fight,i give you a name buster mathis.most fighters joe faced were bigger then him to some degree, joe would give him all he wanted to handle and keep him busy, something wlad doesn't like at all, chuvalo says wlad throws punches like he living on rashins.lol

delusional is a word thats use way to often by to many fans on this site

the same can be said about anyone who thinks a timid giant with a tender chin can beat a relentless hard hitting pressure fighter. see the double standard:deal
