Do you dislike Paulie Malignaggi because of his personality?

Like Khan is in a position to say someone else is disliked! I'm a fan of Amir's but there are many in the UK who do not like him for whatever reason!

I personally do like Paulie. He maybe flash, brash, arrogant, etc, but he is a character & he is a top level boxer!

I like paulies trash talking because its actually kinda funny and entertaining, but mayweathers is kinda ******ed, he contradicts himself and sounds like a 12 year old not exactly the stuff to make me laugh.

 

Are you kiddin' me? Paulie is one of my favorites. Colorful characters are good for boxing, and Paulie is boxing's version of this guy:

No. I know not to take things from him too seriously.

 

The first time I heard of him (around '04-'05) I just wanted him to shut up. But as time went on and he's had the opportunity to show his heart and his skills (despite having no punching power) I've grown to like the guy a lot. The silly **** he did with the hair extensions in England made me feel embarrassed for him but other than that I'm on board the Malignaggi train.

I remember when Malignaggi talked after that fight and i also was happy that someone was finally speaking the truth in front of the camera.

"Boxing is full of ****" if i recall.

 

Paulie is cool man...cant knock him for calling out the best..he comes to fight too as is shown from the cotto fight and diaz fights

 

You mean he's able to take a beating. That's it.

He certainly doesn't 'come to fight'. He's primarily a boxer/mover, who rarely gets into an exchange/war like Castillo, Gatti, Corrales did. The guy talked so much **** for the Hatton fight....'I'mma do this, I'mma do that'....but come the night, he absolutely stank the joint out. Running, holding, slipping to the floor, an absolute terrible display. Granted it may have been Buddy's doing, and he's look better since getting rid of him. But still, I'm looking for Khan punching him like a he's a rag doll all night

 

His personality/guidoish vibe are annoying, but he just doesnt excite me as a boxer more than anything else. He can't hit well enough for me to care.
