thats it , i dont think its official yet but thats whats on the grapevine,i think ther waiting for the boxing licence to be granted.
its already got a licence been a few shows there in last 12 months is a gd venue to be fare decent size
this place is said to be close to old trafford football ground ,though i was told it was a new venue to boxing.it sounds like the velodrme, but is there any other plac es there possibly called daytona raceway. i was told the name of it but for the life of me i can't remember exactly.
I was at the first fight and McDermotts shots that night sounded so heavy. I'd certainly say he's a bigger puncher than Fury and thats something that didn't come across on the tv when I watched it back. That result was even more ridiculous having been there in the flesh. Mind you, I wasn't going to say anything. I was standing right next to Fury's brother. He's a big ****er as well.
There is a place called Daytona Kart Racing next to Old Trafford. So it is infact "incorrect" for them to advertise the event as taking part in "Manchester"
true but they say tyson fury is from manchester but he has lived all over more near lancaster if any thin never been to that venue tho i thought they could find a better one than that
Its not a venue....Its just a massive room with a race track running through it. The Forum, Alty Leisure Centre, or the Velodrome would have all been better venues. I thought Fury was born in Wythenshawe but lives in Wilmslow?
Zzzzzzzz! this old argument. Its ****in Manchester or at least Greater Manchester if you want to be a pedant. If people want to look at things that way then there are no football grounds in London - thats if you consider London to only be the City of London! Anyway, back on topic - I'll done Daytona race at OT a few times but I cant see a fight being held there to be honest - its the middle of nowhere.
Think he grew up in south manchester / cheshire thats why he does not sound like a proper manc. Dayton seems like a weird place to hold the fight, i've done some Go_karting there and it didnt seem that big, but tyson said he wants to fight at old trafford, maybe this is the nearest he can get to there at the moment!
Calm down sunshine. In your reckoning, there would be Manchester Athletic, Manchester Wanderers and Manchester County football teams then? No its Wigan, Bolton and Stockport. Manchester is a City simple as. This event is taking place in Trafford if everything goes according to plan.
tyson lives at the back of manchester airport, style, he was training in lancaster with his uncle and cuzin phill, but rumour has it that he coulde'nt stand the discipline of his uncles training and he wasent allowed to eat crap etc' after he fought fight no6 against belshaw he moved back to manchester to his amateur club ' said the uncle was to strict on him. to be honest i think thats his problem no discipline, as he,s slid down hill in his last few fights.
