Simply the Greatest Talent to ever step inside of a boxing ring, the most talented boxing of all Times..............

I don't think we will see anyone, as good as Roy Jones Junior ever again...!

He was someone who was technically gifted aswell as being a great athlete.

Look at the fighters around today, there just basically average athlete's physically..who have just so happened to dedicated allot of time to boxing.

    Roy Jones Junior........Changed th Game.

Let's have it right, the man was no great technician, he was a force of nature. And he was effective which is what counts.

Its going to be a emotional day, when Roy Jones admits and announces its all over. For all the things he was, that he cannot physically do anymore, but deep down he will always be that fighter/man and champion to me and many fans around the world.

It will just be emotional, seeing him admit this.

Pretty much like Oscar De La Hoya did, when he announced his retirement.

The only difference was, Roy Jones Junior truly was SuperMan.

Have you seen anyone, who can throw combinations like he did..? You need technique to do that.

What about Floyd Mayweather, he can't even string 3 punches together..without having a stroke.

Roy Jones was technically and physically gifted anyone, that thinks otherwise is chatting ****.

    Best Hooker in the game..!!!!

How did he learn how to throw his combinations or eye catching artistic hooks..? just with his phsyically gifts..?

Dose'nt throwing punches, involve........something called ermmmmmmmmmm technique..?

To say the man was just phsyically gifted, is kind of describing him to be like the Hulk.

Before i start i just wanna say we're from the same city, hi there!

No Jones was physically gifted ie he was ridiculously fast and powerful etc etc

He's not a technician, a master combo hitter either. He threw flurries of rapid shots, there's a difference between combos and flurries. Jose Napoles was a combo puncher. He's not a master technician who opens you with the jab, works technically proficient combos to body and head etc etc

He jsut isn't, don't say i;m chatting **** because i'm not. I'm not hating, i rate him, i admire him as a great fighter. I was just pointing out something which is blatantly wrong in my perception.

Roy Jones technique ain't that great. Not exactly Archie Moore that could compete well past his physical prime, is he? Infact I think we've pretty much seen that once his physical skills were eroded he hasn't had the substance to fall back on.

I love how the ref jumps in so enthusiasticly at the end even though they're not throwing any punches. As if he wants to be part of the dance off too.

    "Hey! Look at me!"

Exactly, it's not even debatable really. I give him props for his effectiveness in his prime like i said before.

Well I believe Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest offensive fighter ever, watch his fight against LaMotta and you'll see him throw 8 punch combination's, and triple lefts hooks with split second timing and knockout power, and this in the latter rounds of a 15 round fight when tiredness usually would be taking his sharpness away but it's not in the slightest he's actually getting beter as the fight go on's, so there's one fighter that can do combinations better than Jones, Leonard can to in my opinion, the thing is that Jone's is more flashy, there's a lot of style of substance in his punche's a lot of shoe shining ( when he flurry's that is)

anyway this is not me hating , because Jones is one of my favourites and I do rate him highly and he was a special talent, but I don't believe this talk about him being the greatest Hd 2 Hd fighter ever,
    for me that's Ray Robinson.
