The body doesn't say to itself "let's take off 10 pounds...and just the fat!":-D bull**** , im a personal trainer , and it is possible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time the method is called zig zag dieting , you multiply your lean body mass by 10 , you eat this five days a week then add 500 calories to this on two days a week , by zig zagging your caloric intake you force your body to keep readapting to the calorie diffrence along with a dedicated weight training program of at least 5-6 days a week , you will not gain as much muscle as when you bulk and you will not lose as much fat as when u cut , but it is possible to do , do ur research before you talk ****, arreola has hired a strength and conditioning coach who no doubt has put this practice to use , thats why hes down weight but not much , muscle weighs more than fat , hes probably gained 5-10 pounds of lean body mass from his last outing , and lost 15-20 lbs of fat , hes mexican its in our blood to be heavy set , but hes going in the right direction ,still fat but right direction , he beats adamek .
You are so right thats what im doing right know ive only loss 10lbs in the last 5 months but ive put on a lot of muscle, lost 8% of body fat im proof it can be done but it is a slow process. I can believe that Chris has probably but on 5to 10 lbs of muscle and lost 15-20 of fat since the Minto fight. Which would put him in pretty decent shape.
dedication is the key, u gotta get rid of the high fat high simple carb meals , complex carbs and lean protein are a must , have u tried meal replacements they have 42g of protein , 20 or so carbs (complex) and at only 250-300 calories they are a perfect meal supplament, also try to get 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight , try to get this in 5-7 small meals a day , the body can only absorb 42g of protein at a time ,no carbs before bed also good luck bud
Loco, I agree... when I looked at most recent pics I noticed that his skin looks clearer than before a good indicator of a healthy diet. Plus he stronger than before.
Arreola 250.5, Adamek 217. Arreola's camp was claiming he'd come in under 240, I think. If not that, I'm certain either Arreola or his trainer said a number < 250. He seems like a genuinely nice guy in interviews, but I'm done giving a **** about undisciplined mother****ers who happen to have speed & power. That was Tyson & Toney's problem (gifted & undisciplined [Tyson, it was his discipline out of the ring & coming into the Douglas debaucle]), & Arreola cant hold a candle to either, obviously.
one of Goosen's PR guys told me that Chris was going to come in at 245 yesterday so i was shocked about 250
Yep, they claimed low 240s come fight time. Arreola and co lying about Arreola's weight yet again. That's a shocker.
