Presumably to avoid Ivan Glazchin. English promoter should know more good english (scottish/welsh/etc...) or local figthers who they can trust to not bottle it or cave in after two good digs.
Haha, cheers lad, better late than never Carlos I wouldn't be surprised to see you matched with Gavin Reid, a tough guy but a bit(well maybe more than a bit) lacking in the skills department.
Bam bam hit the nail in the head there. I should have said British or Irish rather than English. Hopefully get someone who's been in with other good prospects so I can compare my performance. It always looks good if you KO someone who's went the distance with a prospect
Im still not sure if a defenite date has been set but I know it's either going to be the 4th or 11th June. Once they get the nod from sky then the tickets should go on sale soon after
That Kimball article is bang on the money - at last someone has put this into perspective. How I am sick reading about Valero's loss to boxing etc. How about his family and the dubious questions to his health etc... Plus, I remember McGuigan calling for him to quit the ring after his last outing - warning of health dangers..... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/colum...-ring-for-the-sake-of-boxing-115875-22039494/
Just read on todays Star that Sweeny already has his next fight lined up, June 25th in America he must be really confident of beating Tims.
Lads - if anyone has Brian Magee's number - give him a quick call and do a piece on his thoughts on the Froch-Kessler fight. I would love to read his thoughts on this one.
