Mayweather is more of a complete fighter.

Jones entire game relied on speed, once the speed was gone he became ordinary.

Not sure how to answer this question, but I would say Jones was the better fighter at his respective best, because he performed more dominately, but skills for skills, I think Floyd is the better fighter.

Roy Jones defense was in his reflexes, in his prime he didnt need to be technically proficient. Remember he didnt really lose(not counting Griffin 1) a fight until 35, 2 years older then Floyd is now.

Then factor in 1 punch KO power

I do too if it's a contentious issue, if i'm trying to call bull****. Here I just want to see what the board has to say.

same as me, if i started a poll i'll make it public. what harm is it going to do? if you don't feel confident enough to make your opinion known, then don't vote, nor give your opinion. personally i like giving my opinions on how i think a fight will play out, but 90% of the time i actually forget to vote.

power is one of the departments in jones favour. like i said, they're both great boxers, and it's hard to say who would win out of the two if they was the same weight etc, but like i said theres certain departments that favours jones, and certain departments that favours floyd.

    A great question is

Is it harder to win titles from Super Featherweight to Super Welterweight or from Middleweight to Heavyweight.

Considering that the higher you go the high percentage of stronger bigger punchers you'll face.

This is exactly why; I'm as interested in the opinion of folk without confidence as I am in those with confidence. Private polls are always busier than public ones, without exception.

Roy Jones is the more physically talented of the two, but Floyd is technically a much better fighter while still being very physically talented. I'd have to go with Floyd by decision or late TKO.

Well lets just say Roy Jones is far more superior in the departments that favor him (power, speed, athleticism) then Floyd is to Jones (defense) IMHO

Hard to say...Easily the two most reflexive and pure athletic boxers in history. 'Better' is a relative word - I think Floyd edges out Jones in pure skills.
