it'll be an exciting career with lots of highs and lows. one minute i can actually see him nearly being at the top, if not at the top beating some of the best, and then the next fight it just totally going wrong with him being stopped again, it's just going to be that sort of career i reckon. i also believe he'll be in some rather exciting fights, which is what the americans like, they like action. regarding legacy, it's too early to say, but i think he'll surprise some on the way.

Oh man! you forgot to mention, when those feather fisted fighters put him down, he got up and smacked the living crap out of them. If his chin was so bad, he would not have got up. Knock downs happen in boxing, it happens to the best of them! Cotto has been down as well, does that make him a china tea cup? no! Pavlik has been down as well, Froch, Calzaghe! Both of those 2 are known for having granite chins! your logic is so damn flawed!!

Keep in mind, Khan was outgrowing lightweight, and had chicken legs! look at his legs now, his calves are bigger, he's filling out in to a genuine light welter now. I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and say his chin is ok. Until he starts getting cracked left right and centre by light welterweights, then you can conclude his chin is china.

And yes Prescott has gone on to do nothing! but he can punch, Khan was stupid enough to get caught cold by a puncher, it happens.

Absolutely it was a duck. But it was a duck through business intentions, rather than being afraind of someone.

It's a good move, because Bradley and Maidana are fighting, so one or the other is out of the picture further down the line.

You could say that prescott sucks but its clear he has heavy hands, and you know khan was caught cold but may not allow him that. the majority of the other floorings were from clean hooks to his temple the guy used to fight gung ho but you may be disapopointed when maidana doesnt knock him out cold with the first jab. his chin is not the BEST, end of

So what? they were shitty, semi-retired fighters with no punching power, the kind of fighters prospects are fed on to bulk up their resume and they were still decking him left right and centre. Even in the amateurs flush shots had his legs going and him doing his baby giraffe impersonation.
And i find Khan and "smacking the living crap" out of people two tersm that hardly go together - whirldwind of sloppy arm punches until referee jumps in, maybe.

Personally I don't think Froch nmor Calzaghe have granite chins.

Khan said he was making Lightweight fine, it was only until his camp spotted an opportunity in Kotelnik that he said LW was hard to fit into. Also ratehr convenient with the kind of lightweights on the scene at the time. And I try not to put too much stock into how fighters look aesthetically, in relation to things like punch resistance.

You're blatantly a massive Khan fan - who has Prescott beaten to tell us he can punch? he knocked out a bunch of literal NOBODIES, and has gone on to do nothing since. Caught cold? Khan was the one rushing in guns blazing.

Bad chin, very bad, but still one of the most exciting fighters to watch in boxing today, his chin actually adds to the excitement, people who dislike him because of his chin are ******ed.

Kotelnik beat the **** out of Rees, decisioned Maidana, and should have had decisions against Witter and M'Baye, and it looks like he's next up for Devon Alexander, so to say he was easy is ridiclous. Khan fought a perfect fight for the win against him. Who at lightweight would have been more of a challenge for Khan? Maybe JMM, but then again he's just ducked Khan, so i guess that argument is redundant.

Also ODLH and Pacquiao were down regularly in their early career, didnt stop them having two of the best chins of their generation.

You say Khan windmills arm punches, please remind me again why Willie Limond decided to quit the round after he knocked down Khan?

You may aswell stop watching from now, cos Khan is going places with Roach, and as a hater, its gonna be difficult to swallow for u. Stick to watching the Prescott fight on youtube on repeat.

Bradley is underrated in my opion. He appears to take his training and nutrition dedication to the highest level. i'd love to see tim bring the desert storm to amir.

Talking about going down to powder puff punchers, Maidana has been bowled over by a man with an 11% KO record, he makes Willie imond look like George Foreman...and the shots that Ortiz threw to put him over were far from Tommy Hearns standard

See now thats just unfair, you cant count that in, cos he had a mullet a the time, and he was trying to protect it.

But the shots he went down to from Ortiz were shameful. They were telegraphed from the other side of the world lol

Most fighters that get caught flush go down. The key is not getting hit. No one would have survived that Prescott punch, it was devastating. Pound for pound, any fighter that got hit by such a punch would be out cold. It happened to Lewis, it happened to Tyson, it happened to Hatton etc etc.

Mayweather is a great example of how to survive and win, don't get hit clean. From there anything is possible.

There are those that like a brawl, Katsidis is a good example, I love him as a fighter because he's exciting but going in head first will never get you consistent titles.

I think Khan, if trained properly, with the right attitude has the chance of being one of the best fighters around.
