Salary Cap is good, needs some minors tweeks here and there. The closeness of the comp is why the NRL is the best. When you have no salary cap you get dominating teams like Melbourne :bbb:hi: winning year after year.

the last few years have been really really close.
It has been a fairly even competition, it has made the game a lot more interesting to watch .

Ok but you have to write in 25 words or less why you think Manly are now this years favourites to win the title. Do this and its done :good

law of the jungle. how long since rabbits won the comp. how long if there were no cap???????????

MONEY. its all about money. let the players earn. they are only good for 10 years if they are great ones.

why shouldnt the game not be a corporate opportunity....isnt government?

    NRL team Salary Cap 4mill

Ronaldos transfer worth in soccer 160 odd mill :patsch **** me dead.

One of the toughest team sports in the world and they arent getting paid anywhere near enough compared to other codes.

I think the NRL should keep the salary cap but it wouldnt be too bad to look at competition setups like the English Soccer League. Make 2 NRL divisions where by the top 2 teams in Division 2 go up into 1st Division and the bottom 2 teams drop down.

You could have 14 teams in the top and another 14 in the 2nd division from all rugby league strength areas of the nation.

Just off the top of my head

    Thoughts???

    MATE!!!!!!!!! let the market decide!!!!!!

NRL AINT SOCCER. capitalism is the law of the jungle. let the **** happen.

russell crowes pride an dollars would see the bunnies win at least one title. but as manly proved in the 80s....it aint all about a team of champions...its about a champion team!!!

    LET THE DOLLARS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its ridiculous what greasy twats like Ronaldo get to kick a ball around.I enjoy soccer but **** me..

Something has to change when it comes to League players salaries.Especially the top tier players.
