Is this that bloke who fought Ali and it's in colour film?? Bloody hell i'm trying hard to think of a slower puncher, he punched like he was in treacle......

Williams has the talent to pull a Rachman on Tua ... if he gets dumb and slugs he's out but if he boxs him he can win an easy decision ...

    It's a 50-50 fight.
I dont have much faith in Williams' chin, but David Tua is capable of getting clearly outboxed by anyone half-decent.

Hasim Rahman didn't have a great chin, and had very little going for him that Williams didn't have more of, and Tua certainly didn't just mow through Rahman.

Williams was so much past it in that one. That fight was a mismatch.

My problem with Tua is that if he can not stop you, he sometimes loses the drive despite his decent condition. The Rahman draw was a good indication of this and the Jeff Wooden fight showed the will difference from a fighter with less power and chin Maskaev. The Lewis fight showed after feeling Lennox's power, Dave was content to survive and go through the motions of Lewis's lead. As far as Big Cat, he had skills besides power but still lost to the Big punchers, Satterfield,Liston and others. Can Williams survive Tuas early test and keep him at bay with his power and skill. It could happen but If I had to bet it would be Tua by KO before the 10th

The man was literally shot. In his prime he was actually fairly quick.

However I doubt even Williams could knock Tua out. It depends on how well he could box. He did stay competitive with the likes of Machen and Terrell while Tua was outboxed by most of his opponents. I'd still have to favour Tua because Williams was not against trading punches even with a big puncher like Liston, and that was his downfall.

I would go as far to say he deserved to go 3-0 against these men. I scored the 2nd terrell-williams fight for Cleveland Williams, and AP had it 46-45 Williams. AP also scored the machen-Williams fight for Williams.

I think people are under the illusion tua had this undentable chin. I think Williams could hurt tua, and hurt him badly. Hasim Rahman floored Tua with a legit shot in the 12th round(albeit after the bell)

So Rahman can go 10 and 12 rounds with Tua, but Williams can't? Don't tell me rahman was a better boxer than williams, because he wasn't.

He could hurt him, perhaps even intimidate Tua with his power but Tua is difficult to stop because he stays low with his chin tucked and doesn't take too many unnecessary chances. If Williams can outbox Tua from a distance with his longer reach and hurt him with quick counter punches, he could possibly win a decision. If he is drawn into a brawl and caught on the chin, he's not going to survive.

Williams has the same advantages as Rahman although Rahman was physically stronger. Rahman was shutting out Tua on the scorecards until being hit after the bell, and most people thought he won the second fight where he floored Tua after the bell.

I usually dont pick Tua in fantasy match ups but he gets this one. Cleveland had good speed and great power but there was always something missing with him. For all his great attributes he had some bad habits and his chin wasnt the greatest.

This would be very exciting while it lasted but ill take Tua Ko5. Cleveland had the skills to outox Tua, but he would only do that for a couple rounds, Tua would force ClevelaND TOO SHOOT OUT AND BIG CAT WOULD HAPPILY GO FOR IT WE MIGHT SEE TUA DUMPED ON THE FLOOR (MIRACLE) BUT IN A WILD BRAWL TUA HAS THIS.

THIS WOULD BE A FOTY . TUA VIOLENT KNOCKOUT!!!

I trip out how no one brings this fight up i remember scoring this fight and though Wooden had it by 1.

As far as styles go you dont have to be a top guy to get the better of Tua.

I see Williams building up a lead and Tua coming from behind to score a late KO

I have to give this to Tua on the basis of a superior chin. It is hard to go against the man with much superior whiskers when sluggers clash.

Did I say something wrong? :huh

Williams was only 20 years old when he fought Satterfield. He also took the fight on very late notice, as a substitute. These are facts.
