It was an entertaining fight. "Horrible until the final 2 minutes", for a Froch fan, undoubtedly.

Not even that, sure i was supporting Froch, but before then the fight was just like a continuation of the Taylor-Lacy fight, with Taylor using his superior skills to outbox a game but out of his depth challenger, well till Taylor forgot the last round lasts 3 mins and not 1.

    Weigh in just happened.
    Kessler - 166.9
    Froch - 167
Both looked the business. Max respect between the two. The Brits drowned out the vikings! Gonna be war

Froch is going to batter Kessler and shatter Kessler's hopes and dreams of competing in this tournament. And to think, not too long ago, Kessler was the favorite to win the whole thing. :-(

We can only hope. I have no dog in this fight. I'm not a fan of either. But I must say, I absolutely hate Froch. No, not because he's ugly or British. But because he's a mediocre talent that talks and fights like his an all time great. I just can't stomach that. Hell, I can't hardly take it when it comes from Floyd and he's 200 times the boxing talent that Froch is. :D

If i was a Kessler supporter, i wouldn't be confident of a knockout since Kessler's 4 best opponents all went the distance( Calzaghe,Ward, Mundine Andrade) and he barley hurt any of them( and was dominated by 2). I also don't think Kessler has fought any powerful punchers.

I thought that at first, but he's gone up in my estimation the more I've watched him. He's more like an old-school throwback, a LaMotta type of character, less about slickness and the sweet science and more about staying in there, showing guts, relying on being tough to put down. I quite rate him for managing to be pretty successful without being Ali v.9.3.

Nice one:good But you are talking about Norwegian vikings at Stamford Brigde!

800 to 1000 AD- Englishmen pays the Danish vikings to stay away

1013 AD- Svein Forkebeard takes England (but dies one year after)

1016 AD- His son Canute the great takes it again

1066 AD- William the conqurer (dececant of danish vikings) kills Harold II and takes England

2010 AD Carl `the cobra` Froch fails his revenge mission and floats home on a stretcher!;)
