Froch wouldn't land a punch, and be made to look like a buffoon, sorry Froch fans, those are the facts.

We'll chat about this after the fight.

  3. It won't matter mate. Froch winning this fight & having more talent than Calzaghe are 2 different things.

I know what you mean and it is why I get annoyed with him.

He had so much talent, but didn't show it against the best.

I bet he's kicking himself for not fighting Pavlik when he had the chance. Another fighter he could have "exposed".

IMHO Froch has already done more than Calzaghe in winning his title against a live opponent, then taking on taylor in the US as a first defence. That shows balls, and I like that a lot.

But.... if they were ever to go head to head, Calzaghe would hand him a serious pasting.

Its easy to say that Calzaghe would school Froch but consider this, Froch has fought and beaten Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell, all of whom are technically gifted boxers, not punchers.

Froch may lack technical skills but the guy has won all his fights. I wouldnt bet against Froch at the moment against any fighter in the division as well as Calzaghe

    Pascal was a good win

Taylor is past his best and Froch scraped through that one

Dirrell was a very luck win also!!!

I think the luck may run out tommorrow

Lets be honest, inflated record aside there isn't a great deal to choose between Froch and The Zagginator.

Would Froch have struggled with Reid, Starie or Rick Thornberry? Nope...

Would he have beaten Lacy- yep.

Would he have been competitive with a 43 year old Hopkins, yep.

Would he have stopped a ancient roy jones- probably.

Would Taylor have given Calzaghe fits- yep

Would Calzaghe have beaten Pascal in an exciting fight- yep.

For me there is nothing between them in terms of achievement- and hardly anything in ability. Calzaghe is an over-rated commodity these days.

His defence was leaky, like Froch's

His punching technique was inferior to carls.

His chin was shaky. Everyone with a dig had him in trouble or rocky.

His opposition was inferior to Frochs pre-championship, and not one of his title challenges was as good as Dirrell or Pascal.

Froch punches harder. He has more heart, more charisma and more balls.

There is little to choose between them other then Zagggys precious 47-0.

    Stop decieving yourselves.

Only one of them has beaten Kessler, and that will remain the same after tomorrow.
