got into by watchin black and white tape of marciano v charles the rematch i must have watched that fight over a hundred times wen i was a kid
i was hooked ever since

I just loved when he let his hands go and he's fo fast. It just made me go on to having a passion for boxing. Man I love the fact that I've found my sport!

Froch v Pascal was my first live fight I attended too. Was a fantastic atmosphere and turned me from an armchair fan to a real nut now!

 

Scott Harrison because at the time he was Scotlands only world champ and i live quite near Cambuslang so i try to claim his a local fighter.

 

Rocky Balboa got me interested in boxing, and then I started watching Calzaghe on ITV and its gone on from there.

 

Started growing from Mayweather-De La Hoya and then became a fully fledged harcore fan after the Cotto-Margarito fight.

 

That is pretty much exactly like me; it was the Hatton-Mayweather fight that really hooked me. Cept I was 15 I think.:huh

First fight I remember watching on the TV was with my grandad and it was Alan Rudkin v Walter McGowan...had a soft spot for Rudkin ever since, class act. Love of the sport consolidated by Stracey and Buchanan

Combination of Tyson, Lewis, Naz and Calzaghe (I hated him before the Lacy fight!...the opposite to Dan you know :yep).

 

I would have to check the dates, hazily inremember mcguigan (sp) Bruno and benn being the ones I really got hyper about watching. It's a tragedy that kids can't have that father son experience as I used to, my dad teaching me thensport, he wasn't a die hard fan but knew plenty about the sport and also knew some very handy boxers, but he could go to work on a Monday knowing everyone would be talking about it. Bring it back!

Looking back, I saw lots of memorable fighters. Add eubanks, Watson, Collins, hamed, lewis e.t.c happy days
