Shut **** up. Everyone that doesnt have thier head shoved up Pavliks ass only leaving enough room to lick his balls, know that Williams wasnt the one scared to make that fight. How many times did Williams agree to fight kelly??? How many times did Kelly pull out??? Get out of here with that crap.
What if he doesn't? Right now Pavlik is a situation where he can't lose another one of his next 3 to 5 fights depending on opposition! Unless Pavlik beats a big name his "boxers appeal" is over! No one will want or care to see his fights! I doubt PW will fight him even if he gains a win over Pavlik people will look to the Bhop blow out and the Martinez destruction of Pavlik and say Pavlik was shot or was never that good!! I personally think Pavlik should move up in weight take on a C-level fighter in the SMW division(Espino equivilant) then take on a B-level fighter and then try for one of the two finalist from the tournament or Bute in his 3rd fight at SMW to gain his following/appeal again!!! If he loses before that 3rd fight then he boxing career is "over"!!!!!!
From 2001-2004 Mosely's record was 1-4 and 1 no contest. As usual, you have no idea what you are talking about.
If Pavlik's comeback fight was against Paul Williams I'd say that would be an opponent that favored Pavlik much better than Sergio Martinez.
Interesting. Oh well, he'll just have to make more money signing once to fight Cintron than he did to sign twice against Pavlik...well maybe not, is that fight still more than 2 weeks away? :think
He was interested when he was at ringside wanting to fight the winner of Pavlik vs Martinez in which it was Martinez.
Don't listen to hermit/ Way before the Martinez fight, hermit thought Pavlik was unbeatable at middleweight.
Williams will beat Pavlik. <<<Trust me you don't want to go against me in picks when it relates to Pavlik. I pick Martinez to beat Pavlik from day one cause i feel Martinez is faster and slicker in which he proved it. I'm picking Williams cause he's faster but he throws punches from different angles in which he'll bother and confuse Pavlik.
I didn't say he'd win, I said it's more in his favor than Martinez, would you not agree? Williams would definately bother him with a swamping of punches, but he's not a guy who's going to make Pavlik reset his feet as much as Martinez, no?
Williams is not a slick fighter like Martinez but he sometimes moves and when he does moves he throws punches. And let me say this, Pavlik hits harder then Williams but he's not a 1 punch knockout artest. Pavlik wins fights by stoppage when he wear down his opponents with throwing alot of punches.
How do you figure? Williams throws more punches than Martinez, hits harder, has better reach, better in fighting. Williams would massacre Pavlik to the point of TKO. If Martinez could bloody him up like that Williams would have brutally massacred him with 200 punches per round.
Actually Williams has very good footwork. As good as Martinez. The difference between Williams and Martinez is Williams is easier to hit. Otherwise Williams is as slick as Martinez in terms of movement, footwork and punching from odd angles.
Face it booradley, Pavlik won't beat Martinez in the rematch. I'll even make a money bet if you want.
