Anyone else think something is funny about the production of this piece?

No score music. No post production ramblings of Jim Lampley. I think it was good. Martinez looked good in that fight.

I'm not sure what you think is "funny." Highlight reels are always skewed to favor the winner. You can only show a certain amount of action in a vid that short.

The beginning didn't represent the fight very well but I think it was only to make the victory look sweeter.

This is what I was going for. Hilight packages are typically supposed to be about depicting a fight accurately in as condensed version as possible. What happened was a sandwhich fight. What the hilight package indicates to someone who didn't watch the fight is a big comeback win by Martinez.

It only occured to me because I was waiting for the package to come out to send a friend of mine who hadn't seen the fight a link to it.

HBO also has the full fight on their "On Demand" cable channel for those that missed it.

Yeah, that was pretty terrible. There was only one camera angle different from the telecast and I believe it showed even less than the original. Starting off in round seven(?!) and spending most of its time showing what happened between the flurries. Weird.

It should have been rather easy to show when the cuts started and developed & hype up the "seesaw" of the momentum. The three minutes felt long and made the fight look much less interesting than it was.

The $10-webcam-on-someone's-lap-in-a-dark-room-with-glare-on-the-television-from-open-windows-with-babies-crying-and-dogs-barking-in-the-background production pieces will probably be better done than that one.
